5 years and counting
It's been more than 5 years since I met Dr. Drennan and staff. I have chronic pain from a combination of degenerative disc disease, spinal arthritis, and left over results of spinal fusion. Dr. Drennan has been a good fit for me for the type of pain I experience. His experience, knowledge, and treatments work well for my pain syndrome. He has always been friendly, easy going, & during procedures ready to explain what he is doing, why, expected results, etc. His PA Chris Felt is also very knowledgeable in helping patients understand their pain, and recommending treatments. The rest of the office staff is also knowledgeable and ready & willing to help.

Confident
Dr. Drennan is confident because he knows his s**t. Explains conditions well and fast. Procedure time is brief because he knows how to do them so well! His “Alexa” plays alternative music during his procedures and whatever I tell it to play. The staff is friendly and courteous. He has a very nice clinic with plenty of parking.

Excellent care
Dr. Drennan was knowledgeable with my pain issue and was quick to recommend treatment along with PT. I am not one to take pain meds and I wanted my issue to be resolved and not masked. I am now pain free and back to hiking my favorite mountains.

Wow....reading all these reviews and the bad ones are the same results I found there. Pressure to up drugs even when you want to decrease them. Doing injections when you don't want them...His first impression is wonderful...then I didn't see him for months...then when I reject another injection... I am no longer a patient. He gets his revenue from injections and procedures... the patient just the means to the end. We ,apparently, are an never ending supply.

I saw Dr. Drennan for 2.5 years ending in late 2016. He never actually found the source of my severe headaches. Instead I was given a long series of painful and expensive injections that were ineffective. His solution was to prescribe what I now know was a dangerous cocktail of medications. I repeatedly questioned the necessity of these medications but he made it seem like no big deal. I still had pain so doses kept being increased. I was completely physically hooked on these drugs. It took a change in insurance that forced me to switch doctors that probably saved my life. I was immediately weaned off these heavy doses of medications by my new doctor. It has been 3 years since I took any of this stuff. And guess what... no more serious headaches since I’ve been off the meds. He’s an irresponsible pill pusher. He wants to bill insurance for expensive injections. He will mix medications. Stay away!

He likes to cuss. He preaches surgery as his office is not to equipped to deal with patients with chronic long-term pain. He never worked to pin-point the cause of my pain. There are so many more compassionate and educated doctors than him.

Where do I start? So many things wrong here. Dr. Drennan is out to make as much money as he can off of you and your insurance with his recommendations with injections, Kate, his office manager, is the most uncaring, rude, arrogant health professional I have ever interacted with, and Dr. Drennan is not a responsible narcotic prescribing professional.. I have know him for some time and the moment he appointed Kate to help lead his practice, was the moment it all went downhill. She is poison.

Entire staff professional and friendly. Dr Drennan was very kind, passionate and listened well. I explained what had not worked and my desire to address this narcotic free or low dose if necessary and he laid out several options and recommended approaches. This was my third appointment with Comprehensive Pain Specialists but first appointment with Dr Drennan. Woman I saw on two visits prior was very kind as well, excellent facility all around. Thank you for the work you do!
