For the past 21 years my circulatory system has been prone to aneurysms.... weaknesses and bulges accruing in multiple arteries requiring a variety of surgeries, bypasses, stents, coils and insertion of prosthetic arteries .... I have consulted multiple surgeons and specialists with international reputations??we all tip our hats to the NJ Endovascular team of Bernheim, Char and Patel for keeping me alive for the past two plus decades ? they performed numerous surgical miracles on my body with a pleasant bedside manner, rehab referral , office visits and constantly monitoring my circulatory system for vascular changes?. they have given me the gift of life allowing me to experience numerous graduations, marriages, achievements and hopefully the birth of my first grandchild in June....and the support team of Roberta, Jamie and Frances are outstanding, friendly and responsive!

Dr. Char is a very caring vascular surgeon. He performed two procedures for me on my legs and I couldn’t be happier with the results! He takes his time to explain everything and answers all questions courteously and in layman’s language. Roberta at the front desk is very pleasant and makes sure you understand what to do before and after your procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Char for any vascular issues.

Dr. Char is an excellent listener, and a fantastic clinician. His reputation is truly accurate. And, both Roberta and Gabby are also extremely kind and sweet.

Dr Char was friendly, instilled confidence and was extremely informative about my procedure. Everyone in the office was professional and top notch. Roberta at reception was beyond helpful even calmed my nerves on the MANY phone calls I made to their office. Gabby the ultrasound technician, who assisted during the procedure, assured me from the get go I had no need to worry and she was right. The recovery was easy and my unsightly leg veins are now gone. If you are debating getting it done take it from me Dr Char's technique is the way to go.

I believe your first impression of a new physician starts when calling for an appointment. I already knew who Dr Char was from working at Valley Hospital but even if I didn’t Roberta sealed the deal. Roberta was efficient and her kind personality came through even over the phone. An employee’s happiness starts at the top and I believe Dr Char and the other 2 physicians in the practice treat their staff with respect and that creates happy employees like “the special Roberta”. Oh and did I mention Dr Char is a fine surgeon and a very nice person? Well he is.

My experience with Dr Char and staff was nothing short of amazing. Dr. Char took time explaining my particular situation to me and explaining his course of action to correct. Surgery itself went beautifully and exactly as I expected as per Dr. Char's explanation. The results were again exactly what I expected. I could not have been more pleased and absolutely would recommend Dr. Char to everyone. His office staff was very friendly and helpful and I had no problem getting an appointment in a timely basis. I would rate my experience at a 5.0.

Great doctor. Great practice. And most importantly, a great outcome. Very happy with two vascular procedures which resulted in very good aesthetics and reduction in varicose pain and swelling. Office staff coordinates everything well. I would highly recommend Dr. Char!

Dr Char is a great doctor that always took his time to explain the procedure, was very comforting to this uneasy patient and did a great job with the procedure. Two weeks later I can’t believe the difference. From the time you call and speak with Roberta to set the appointment thru working with Gabby who is an outstanding and easy to talk with nurse, thru Dr Char, the experience was above and beyond my expectations. Emergency Surgery for aortic Aneurysm

Dr Char was my husband's surgeon. Dr Char is an excellent surgeon who was highly recommended by several physicians. His bedside manner and surgical skills are amazing! We felt extremely confident before the surgery and extremely pleased with the results!

Wonderful, not only is he a skilled surgeon, but he takes the time ensure that his patients get the best care. Twice he put a procedure on hold for my father, even when he was ready to go at the hospital, because it wasn't in the best interests of his patient.

Besides a smooth & successful surgical procedure - Dr. Char put us completely at ease as a new patient. There are numerous unknown allergies to contend with (a family member), and Dr. Char was completely focused, cautious and understanding. The hospital staff was also brought up to speed by Dr. Char, in advance of our arrival. Speaks with you, not at you. Clearly listening. Highly recommend.
