Dr. Bruhl has received several academic awards, including The Outstanding Senior Medical Student in Surgery and The Outstanding Surgical Intern. He holds 2 U.S. patents. He has served as Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Army and has been appointed principal investigator on several research projects for the FDA.
