Dr. Daniel Belayneh, MD

This doctor has time and again told me my health issues are nothing, or made light of them, when one is in fact life threatening. This makes me question the depth of his understanding of medicine. He also seems very anxious every time I meet with him and has on multiple occasions claimed I was lying about medical issues. He is unable to connect with me as a human being and doesn't take much of what I say seriously. To think he is the only medical doctor and El Proyecto del Barrio, Nortridge is scary.

Dr. Belayneh is the worst - he doesn't care about his patients, and he lacks all professionalism as a doctor. After having heart issues and being in the ER, it's now been NINE DAYS since I returned my holtar monitor to Dr. Belayneh and he hasn't had an ounce of decency to contact me with the results. I've left 3 messages, sent one e-mail, and contacted Facey's customer service people - STILL NO RESULTS. His office told me he hasn't even reviewed the results yet. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

I went in because I was concerned about my physical symptoms relating to an ongoing health problem. He took a cursory look at my labs and said I did not need further testing and sent me on my way. Without any prior knowledge of my history, he went on to 'advise' me on lifestyle changes and told me I should get off of some of my psychiatric medicines because they wouldn't cure me in the long run. I left the office on tears. He scheduled me for a follow up appointment but I will NOT be returning.
