He is a fantastic surgeon
It is 10 years ago today, August 5, 2013, that Dr. Beckman replaced my mitral valve. He went in to repair the valve but found a defect that could not be repaired. He replaced the valve all in the same surgery. To this day my heart is doing wonderfully. I just had a full battery of tests on my heart and all looks great. I am 80 years old now. Thank you Dr. Beckman!!

Dr. Beckman did open heart surgery on me in 2003 replacing mitral valve, the maze procedure, repairing holes in my heart and having CHF, my heart was extremely damaged and being told I probably wouldn’t make it through surgery, spending many days in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis that year. It is now 8/27/21 (18years later). I am so grateful to God and for Dr. Beckman who spent a lot of time with me and for his knowledge that has prolonged my life for so many years. He was such a compassionate and caring doctor. Still to this day I often think of him and how he helped to save my life. I highly recommend him and if I could give him a hundred stars (I would). I no longer live in that area, but if I ever needed heart surgery again, I wouldn’t hesitate to travel back and ask for him.

One of the finest, most competent physicians I have ever met in my 82 years of age. Performed surgery on me with excellent results and checked in on me regularly to assess my health and well being. The best!
