Dr. Daniel Bachman, MD

Dr Bachman has always went above and beyond in caring for my son’s complex issues. We have had multiple surgeries over 2 years and he has always put my son’s best interest first. He is compassionate and highly intelligent for pediatric orthopedics. I can’t recommend him enough. He has shown up at the hospital on his days off, he has called after hours checking on my son. I’ve never had a doctor provide the care that Dr Bachman has.

Daughter was sent home after a tibia/fibula fracture with 3 days of medication. He was the MD on call. Did not want to prescribe pain medication, wanted me to load her up and take her to the ER for pain control on New Years Holiday. She isn’t sick. Instead of giving her pain control he would rather expose her to RSV, Covid, flu, not to mention the hours you wait in the ER. We also live over an hour away from Louisville, and he did not care about the costs or inconveniences of his lack of empathy. Because who doesn’t have $3k+ laying around for an ER visit. My daughter’s surgeon Dr Meier was amazing, but I recommend you think long and hard before dealings with this physician. Had the audacity to ask if I was giving her non narcotic medication. To which I replied “of course and if it was working I wouldn’t be calling you!” As a nurse I am highly disgusted by his lack of professionalism and care for his patients and their families.
