Dr. Dana Wright, MD

First words to me, after I arrived 10 min early and waited nearly 2 hours to see him: WOW! your weight is BAD. You need to learn to say no. Only eat half of what you’ve been eating. 1. I know. There isn’t a fat woman in this world that doesn’t know about it. 2. There’s a way to approach it that isn’t immediately insulting and dehumanizing. Like maybe by introducing yourself. 3. I have an eating disorder, in my file. I’m not sure what the best practices are here, but his approach was mind boggling. I will not return to this office, which is a shame. Last year I thought I’d finally found a good PCP. He spent 45 minutes talking me through everything in a very thorough physical. Apparently a significant weight gain in a year is all it takes to become subhuman to this man.

Dr. Dana Wright is an excellent doctor. I was in a lot of pain and suffering and he saw me on very short notice. He diagnosed my medical issue in a very organized and precise way and came up with a diagnosis that was correct. I am very grateful for his medical expertise and the way he cares for his patients. I highly recommend him.

This man has been my primary care doctor for going on 20 years now and I could NOT recommend more highly. He listens to his patients, is knowledgeable and compassionate.
