Dr. Leifer is extraordinary doctor who listens attentively and is very responsive.He is not pressed he takes the time to explain and answer questions in a relaxed atmosphere.

Dr. Leifer was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in breaking down my post stroke paper work and scans and provide direction for follow up tests.

Kind, caring and thorough..I had an appointment with Dr Leifer, it was to be my first visit however, I was admitted to the ER before the visit. I told the attending physician Dr Leifer was my doctor. He sent word to Dr Leifer I was in the ER. At the end of his day he came to the ER to meet me and help. I have had testing done and still have tests scheduled to try and figure out what caused my stroke. I believe he will figure it out. Dr Leifer takes his time during visits goes over the details of testing..I highly recommend him.

Dr Leifer has been following me since I had a TIA about 10 years ago. I travel from NJ to see him and it’s worth the hassle of taking so many trains becti know that I’m in good hands.

Dr. Leifer is VERY thorough when diagnosing a complicated issue. I’ve seen him in the past and he is on top of any and all tests and procedures to get at the cause of your problem.

Dr. Leifer arranged for an ultrasound which I’d neglected to schedule. The visit was thorough, and Dr. Leifer was ready yo address my issues. He also reviewed my chart and inquired about other physicians notes and test results. I really felt confident and trusted his assessments and recommendations.

Dr Leifer was recommended to go over,discuss,evaluate an MRI. Have seen him 3 times in 12 months. Brought typed out notes of background with me. All was entered in my record, then we talked. Was comfortable and at ease with the scope and the back and forth of the visits. Did not feel rushed, questions welcomed and answers fully explained. In 12 months I go back for a followup. Can say I look forward to it.

Dr Leifer is very knowledgeable and thorough. I’ve been his patient for 3 years. He also has great bedside manners. He answers all of my questions. I gave him 4 stars because the wait time is very long. Expect to wait 60-75 minutes past your appointment time. He spends a lot of time with each of his patients. I always say I’m going to find another doctor for this reason but I never do.

Dr. Leifer is one of the best doctors I have ever visited. He is thorough, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his patients. He has a lot of patience and dedicates all the time a patient needs during the visit. I highly recommend him.

Dr Leifer was very thorough in discussing my medical history with me in order to provide an evidence based treatment plan. He was kind, thoughtful and extremely knowledge. At the end of the office visit I felt confident in having have him as a specialist for my healthcare.

Dr. Leifer spends as much time as needed with patients to thoroughly understand health issues, review past notes and formulate a treatment plan accordingly. I have been seeing him for several years at this New York City location. I visit annually from New Jersey.

Being a patient I feel very fortunate to have such a competent and caring doctor. He is an example of excellence.
