Dr is a bit full of themselves.
Recently, I attended an establishing care appointment that raised several concerns. The doctor began by discussing her background instead of asking for my priorities, signaling immediate red flags. She mentioned helping establish MGM's Direct Care practice, emphasizing their willingness to spend any amount on employee care (Flag 1). She also stated that she 'takes complete control' of her patients' care, overriding other providers, and that care 'begins and ends' with her (Flags 2 and 3).Throughout the appointment, she dismissed my input on prior care, recommended several new medications based solely on my age, and made assumptions without adequate context. For instance, when she noted I had a 'thick neck,' she asked about sleep apnea. Despite my doubts, her response to my saying I snore tentatively when asked was an immediate referral to a sleep specialist. Rather than offering advice as a doctor should, it felt more like she was arrogantly issuing commands. Stay away.

I have been a patient o Dr. Forte for over 10 years and she is the BEST primary care physician I have ever seen!!! She truly cares about her patients and she spends the time necessary to understand all of the issues they are dealing with and what she can do proactively to help them get better. Her office staff over the years hasn't been the best, but she has been building a great team of staff and fixing issues as she becomes aware of them. I have seen so much improvement in being able to get in touch with her staff and medical assistants over the last year. Regardless, I deal with overcoming communication issues and continue to advocate for my own health and get the care I need from Dr. Forte and her team of doctors and physicians assistants. Honestly, finding a doctor that is knowledgeable, actually cares about her patients, and works proactively to fight the issues we deal with as we age is more important to me than having difficulty getting a hold of the office on the phone.

THE OFFICE STAFF is the WORST EVER!!
The follow ups are non- existent! You have to physically go to and from the office to get what you need regarding a referral or authorization for comprehensive tests. Been waiting 2 weeks and still nothing sent regarding an authorization for the tests after 8 phone calls to the office. Then, this is what really has got me. I was prescribed a new med just because my sugar level was a little high. Now remember, this is AFTER, my lab work and my screening is done and I explain about excessive internal bleeding which has got worse. Well, one of the side effects of it can cause internal bleeding! So why would a Dr. prescribe a med that can do that she when my tests and I myself explained that the bleeding is so bad at times, it's like I was one of the crazies in the Texas chain saw massacre? I have got weaker and lose my balance on and off each day. And still, no authorization for the tests sent. Their excuse: 'We have only 1 person that handles that dept.'

Run don’t walk as far as you can
I was a patient for the 10 years I lived in Vegas & am so glad I am not one anymore. Appointments were rushed & if I could not take a prescribed med due to side affects, I was yelled at. That’s not how to treat a patient who’s trusting a doctor to have their best interest. And don’t get me started on reception or trying to get through by phone. If you do get through you could wait forever on hold & if you actually get a person they have no clue how to help. It was always someone will call you back. I’ve been gone 3 years & I’d still be waiting! Questions go unanswered & it was very uncomfortable there. This is not a family practice that I had been used to before living in the US. Please if you value your health look elsewhere for a primary care physician.

Changing Doctors Quick!
I have been coming to Forte Family Practice since about 2011. I have had very good appointments and I have had very bad appointments. Now that the bad ones are outweighing the good one, it’s time to find a new doctor. The last straw was having to wait three months for a referral to a Neurologist to be corrected. After calling once a week for eight weeks and the neurology clinic calling about four times, it took me sitting in the office and not leaving just to get something corrected that could easily have been done otherwise.

The worst!
2.2 healthgrade is being very generous. Between Dr. Forte, her staff and the office itself its hard to believe she is still in practice. They don't answer the phones or return calls no follow up. The doctors on staff don't stay. The building itself should be condemned. I could go on and on.

I have never been shamed by a dr before until now. she asked me if I was on birth control & when I said no she made a disgusting snarky comment saying “thats why you’re always pregnant” then proceeded to say she bet me a coffee I would be pregnant at the end of the year. im married with two children, that was absolutely unnecessary & uncalled for im absolutely appalled by the way I was treated for making my own medical decisions

Buyer beware
My health was deteriorating, I needed an honest professional to get me back on track. I tried for a month to get appt. Every call it was something. My Dr. was on vacation, he was booked for a month. Finally I secured a visit as a Hospital follow up. I arrived 20 minutes early. The receptionist informed me my physician had called in sick. I was never notified. If they wanted to fire me as a patient they should have told me to buzz off. I was a patient for 6 years. I am no longer a sucker.

I’ve had such horrific experiences here that I’m not even fully sure where to even begin. The long and short of it is- do not go here if you care about your health in any way. Specifically- if you have any issues that require specialized care or a referral, I hope you just plan on suffering indefinitely. That’s about all they have to offer there. I want to say specifically MYRA at their REFERRAL DEPARTMENT is one of the most incompetent, fractious people I have ever met. Every single referral I’ve ever had go through Forte has been horrifically mangled and mismanaged, even for very critical, scary, time sensitive health issues.

Forte Client for 10+ years (but not anymore) – Jan 06, 2022

We've been living in Las Vegas for over a year now and we started our Healthcare with Doctor Fortes Practice. What an absolute joke as far as a professional Medical Group! The front office was rude, very very stupid, very very lazy and they have no clue what they're doing. On several occasions my wife had incorrect documents from other patients in her folder and the PA was trying to tell her that her neck x-ray showed an issue. My wife said I don't have a neck issue I came here to talk about the x-ray of my leg! My wife also had an issue with the PA's. Fortunately, I had a very good rapport with my PA (who is no longer there) in which I'll give them that positive. But that's the only plus that I give Forte's Fumbling Follies. The absolute worst!! My advice is go somewhere else......quickly!

Front Desk was pleasant got to talk to a real person. Wait time was reasonable and Dr Joe listened to my concerns and initiated xrays, bloodwork and meds to address my issue. Bed side manner is to the point and very caring. We need more like him in Las Vegas Thank you so much

Dr. Forte is the best doctor I have ever gone to. My entire family has her as their doctor. If she wasn't our doctor , my wife and her, would probably be best friends . She is very personable and I feel comfortable in her office.

If I could give ZERO stars I would! The only good thing about this office is Joe the PA and the hours. They require an office visit for every refill. there is no reason my pharmacy cannot call and request a refill. The first time i was there I waited 3 hours. Nurse practiioner came in she was flustered and I could tell she was already over that day. She barely did a physical, if you even call it that. I recently had blood work done there and they could not find my records. When they finally did all i wanted to know was if they were normal or abnormal. The girl at the front desk said she could not release any information because she could not know it was me calling!Clearly no one in that office knows ANYTHING about how HIPPA really worksSo basically they want you to come in for any little thing so they can collect your co-pay. This has nothing to do with you as a person or your well being. And tell me how in God's name I saw her practice on the top family practices in the valley?

Don’t understand how an office can’t run so inefficiently! Simple thing like asking for a written prescription due to insurance requirements has taken over a month and they still got it wrong. Switching Dr’s office ASAP... would rather not deal with rude unhelpful people for my medical care.
