Great doctor
I was worried due to all the negative reviews about this doctor’s “rude” behavior. I don’t know what they were talking about. He such a friendly guy. He explained everything thoroughly. I have a treatment plan in the works. The staff was also all very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend Dr. Park.

I would not recommend him to a dog. I got no Care.
I live an hour away from Springfield. My dr. sent me to Dr. Park for pain in my left big toe and possible ingrown toenail. I also have fungus infection in that toe and two other toes. I told the nurse I had a painful spot on the bottom of that foot too that I didn't know if it was a callus or a plantars wart. It felt like I was stepping on a rock. The dr. came in ,handed me a list of beauty shops that do pedicures. They were ALL an hour away from me by the way. I am a Diabetic! I waited three weeks to be seen by Dr. Park only to wind up with him not even looking at or examining my feet. My dr. sent me there for care which I didn't get!!

Rude
He was so rude to my child and me. He came in telling my daughter how painful the numbing shot would be on her toe. She was then afraid of having it done. He throws all his stuff down and storms out of the office saying he is done. Nurse came in all like yikes and said surgery it is. Acted like a complete child.

I do not recommend
I was referred to Dr Park for an infected ingrown toenail. I also have cancer and am being treated with an oral non-chemo med. He never once looked at my foot or toe. After reviewing my chart online, he explained the typical treatment, but said he didn’t recommend it for active cancer patients. The only other option was to trim the ingrown nail off at the corner. BUT….he doesn’t trim nails. He suggested I go to a nail salon and get them to trim the ingrown nail. My toe is red, swollen, bleeding daily, and painful. I’m not going to an unknown nail salon for a nail tech with 4 months of training to adress a medical issue. His notes the next day on my patient portal was full of errors and inconsistencies. He spent about 5 minutes with me, never looked at or touched my toe or foot, and left abruptly after telling me to go a nail salon. I’ll definitely not be returning to him.

Horrible bedside manner
dr. Park refused to coordinate care with other members of the medical team. He would undo their work and throw it away. I left his office in tears many times. AND he left my toes in a mess because he didn't put a pin to stablize the bone as it healed, so it is frozen and crooked.

I have seen him twice now and sent my son to him. Did foot injection from the top which was a lot less painful than from below and worked great! Very professional, very knowledgeable, explains things very well and have had good outcomes each time. My preferred podiatrist for sure!

He is surgery based and has no bedside manner. Did not touch my foot at all. Would not discuss alternative treatments. When I asked if surgery was my only alternative, he touched his lab coat where the word "podiatry" is put and says "I am a podiatrist, surgery is all I do". I do not have a severe tailor bunion and I am sure there are other methods of treatment other than surgery. Would not discuss toe separators or any other way to treat my severe callous. He did mention corrective shoes. I asked him again how I would go around to getting those. He again pointed to the word "podiatry"on his lab coat and told me that he did not work in insurance. Total waste of my time and insurance money.

So far horrible woulf be what I say! My dad is diabetic and we get no help, he went in after he had surgery on little toe and doc was in room 5 min and first words out of his mouth "not look good" did he do anything about it-NO, he sent him home. We ended up taking him to the emergency room nothing happened there except they gave him stronger antibiotics. Got in to Dr. PARK AGAIN and told him to come back next week and continue on antibiots, well here we r next week and now he thinks there is bone infection. The ehole time we knew it did not look right and looked infected. He would not send dad to wound care and feel like if we would have we may not need more amputated off of foot. This had been a horrible experience! I think he just likes to use the knife and cut!

Dr. Park was not professional. I went to my appointment expecting him to examine my feet since I am diabetic and to answer questions I had about foot pain. He had them do exrays and then left the examination room after I asked him a couple of questions. He did not examine my feet at all. I had to go out into the hall to retrieve him. I asked another question and he left again. I gave up. I have never had such a strange experience in a doctors office. It was not what I expected at all.

Injected my heal bone spur, made it better for years when everything else was just temporary or didn't work at all. His magic expertise allowed me to feel NO pain while injecting that huge needle. Dr. Park is amazing RJ

Wouldn't advise anyone to see him. He hates service dogs and dogs in particular. He also told me that he can't do anything for me due to me being partially bound to a power wheelchair.

Why doesn't he have more great reviews? Maybe satisfied people like me neglected to do it, now that I need a Dr again 3 1/2 years later he's top of the list. When a doctor cradles your foot while on his knees and explains what kind of fracture you have and how serious it can be and explains how I may be able to avoid surgery, he has won my confidence and loyalty. Even my family doctor was not able to advise me to keep off the foot and ordered a boot but was wise enough to send me to a specialist

All that glitters is not gold. Dr Park is thorough, knowledgeable and user friendly. May not be flashy and outwardly glossy. Gets assessment and work done perfectly. This is an assessment from a physician. Good job.
