To be 100% free of “prescribed Neuroleptics” for many years, following a minimum of two decades of prescribed drugs / drug cocktails; wow! It’s been better than two decades since the last electroshock SO I believe I have earned the privilege of offering the following review. “I am certain, “treatment resistant depression” is best defined as “an adverse response to Neuroleptics”! Added Electroshock, in light of known “adverse response” etiology, could be interpreted as unconscionable, amoral! Some 67 documented electroshocks with no indication of improvement? The diagnosis unchanged? Electroshock ending only when persistent neck pain is noted? Even with anesthesia: “Pain” IS evident in the aftermath of Electroshock; Memory loss IS evident in the aftermath of Electroshock; Autobiographical memory loss IS evident in the aftermath of Electroshock. Also, in my case; Persistent low ACTH, low Cortisol levels ARE indicative of hypothalamus/pituitary gland injury ensuing electroshock!”
