I went to Dr. Reyes with symptoms of kidney issues....swelling ankles, feet and legs and increased urination frequency. I also explained that I recently underwent major surgery and my condition had become worse. She ordered a renal panel, urinalysis and an ultrasound of kidneys and bladder. On the followup visit, Dr Reyes told me there was nothing wrong with my kidneys and suggested I see an allergist. I tried to explain to her that if it was an allergy that I would have to be allergic to many foods and medicines that aggravate the condition. She had no explanation but stuck to her diagnosis. She provided copies of the test results and discharged me from the practice with no more appointments. Uncomfortable with the outcome, I decided to review the test results the next day and the ultrasound report stated that I had a six mm stone in each kidney and that one was obstructing. Had I not caught her mistake, I could have been damaged severely by this blunder. Incredible!!!

Dr Reyes, is a fantastic Doctor, but when you try and call into her, her staff does not take the phones off of answering service so you get a recorded message that says " call back between 9 am and 4 pm to reach the staff" So you call them for over an hour from 9 am to 10 am and still get the answering service, two days in a row!
