Dr. Dahari Brooks, MD

I have had four back surgeries including one a couple of months ago. This is the first time I have had enduring pain. I had pain medicine from my first back surgery (spinal fusion) because as soon as I could endure the pain I stopped taking it. This time the pain is awful so I asked that he give me something until I could see pain management- just a weeks worth and I would be happy with even 5 mg. Without even bothering to come in and see me he said no. I had pain medication left over from all 4 of my back surgeries, an aortic aneurysm, bladder cancer surgery, lung cancer and a few more. If I were an addict I would not have any pain medication remaining but Dr. Brooks not only did not bother to come in the room to see me (my appointment was with him) but is forcing me to live in excruciating pain. No, I would never recommend anyone with so little compassion and I definitely think the AMA should rethink their policy. We should not be made to suffer for someone else’s addiction.

Dr Brooks is a great doctor, he has always taken his time with me and explained treatment and care before, during and after my surgery. I seen his PA today and she was great also.

Very nice assistant who listened attentively and explained thoroughly a recommended course of action to make appointment with PT. I felt very relieved with her advise.

I have known Dr. Brooks for over 20 years! There are very few doctors anymore that really take the time with their patients like he does. I cannot have enough praise and admiration for this man. He really cares about his patients and that is very rare these days. You could not ask for a more skilled doctor than Dr, Brooks.

I was referred to Dr. Brooks by his partner, Dr. Beane. Both excellent doctors! Dr. Brooks had reviewed my file and dove right into my care with me. He took his time to listen and evaluate all that has been going on with my lower lumbar spine, SI joint, and hip pain. It's been years. We have a plan and I left the office feeling optimistic for the first time in a very long time. I've been grateful for the outstanding care of the team at this practice.

I have seen Dr. Brooks for two disc issues (one several years ago) and he is a phenomenal surgeon. He and his team have taken excellent care of me and I highly recommend him.

I have bone spurs everywhere. Dr Brooks has helped on 2 different surgeries and I will count on him for the next.

Dr. Brooks is consistently caring and attentive when I visit his office about myreoccurring neck pain. He's very thorough at explaining things and makes sure you are comfortable with the care plan. I recommend him highly.
