Dr. Cynthia Sandona, DO

I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with this office. Due to an error on their end—one they failed to communicate with me—I was not only blamed for the mistake but also treated with complete disrespect. Instead of acknowledging their oversight, I was yelled at as if it were my fault.To make matters worse, they canceled my colonoscopy without informing me, while I was already in prep. Anyone who has gone through this process knows how unpleasant the preparation is, and to endure that for nothing is beyond unacceptable. I had already completed the e-check-in through my health system and had special clearance, yet none of that seemed to matter.The lack of care and empathy from this office is alarming. Healthcare should be about patient well-being, but my experience here felt like the opposite. I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone looking for compassionate or professional care.

Dr. Sadona does not respect patient's privacy rights. While I was undressed, Dr. Sandona brought in a male intern into the exam room without asking me. She also botched up my radiation treatment; instead of going twice a day for five days I had to go 16 days.

Dr. Sandona's reputation of being a good and caring doctor is known through out the hospital. I had breast cancer and she was the surgeon recommended by my general practice doctor. The hospital staff had nothing but praise for her skills and bed side manner. I asked for her when I came into the hospital a year later for an emergency appendectomy. I felt very cared for by Dr. Sandona, her staff and the Beaumont Hospital Farmington Hills staff.

I highly recommend Dr Sandona. she is very down to earth and made me feel very comfortable. Very happy with her and her staff.

If I could be less than 1 I would. Horrible experience. She doesn't seem to care about the patient just wants to get you in and out of her office. Does not listen, didn't answer any questions. Actually didn't allow me to ask a question without cutting me off mid question. Worst experience I have ever had with any doctor.

Abrupt, didn't listen to me. Rushed me right out. Looking for different surgeon.
