The same treatment I'm trying to avoid
I do not recommend her at all. She was rushing, would not let me speak to tell her about my own lived experiences, made rash judgements about minor things I mentioned for a second, then diagnosed me in the first 5 minutes of speaking (incorrectly....). I literally had to get in argument with her to get her to just stop talking long enough to listen to what is actually wrong/what my actual real symptoms are. She finally kind of listened at that point and I think realized I was at least partially knowledgeable (I've already been diagnosed in the past, I was just having difficulty finding affordable treatment). But she was still trying to sell the same canned diagnosis that she seems a little obsessed with. She made me feel diminished, ignored and upset for the rest of the day into the next day. Don't talk over, interrupt and redirect your patients and then tell them they have "pressured speech." No, they're just upset from being interrupted and ignored.

Great Doctor!
She has seen me once but I had a couple different doctors in the past due to relocating twice from two different states to east coast. She is great and makes me feel comfortable to talk about my horrible past from mental issues to emotional issues. So far, what she prescribed me is giving me more peace of mind. Looking forward for her to know me more as time pass for we still need to get to know each other to treat me. She’s a good doctor! Like the other person said here, she is NOT a magician. If there’s something that bothers a person, tell her until it gets resolved.

I wish I could schedule with her again
I saw her several years ago and to this day no one else was as in tune with me and my needs as she was. She made it easy and comfortable to find what was right for me. I miss having her around honestly. If I could have her as a psych again I would. No ones come even close since. PS she was my first after a horrible psychotic break and she helped me get my life together again.

This doctor lacks professionalism. She might look very friendly and optimistic , and my son who went through his first psychotic break, liked her. While being on 10mg zyprexa, he was doing well, but did not believe he was sick and wanted to get off the medication ASAP. Dr.Millin then decreased his dosage to 5mg. I noticed changes in his behavior right away, began alarming her. She assured me he was fine. 5 months later my son relapsed and had to be hospitalized. Stay away from this doctor.

I quite enjoy her and was actually considering recommending her. Shes a psychiatrist not a magician. And she isnt really responsible for anyones choices as shes not there to give advice but more of friendly suggestions. I also have 0 problems with my medication and her. She was patient until I was ready to come off of them

Stay away from this Doctor. My 23 year old child has a severe psychiatric illness with multiple hospitalizations. Cynthia Millin removed the medication that was keeping my child stable. As a result, my child had two additional hospitalizations under Dr. Millin's care. In addition, she told my child that if she continued having hospitalizations, that she would end up going to a state hospital where she would never get out. STAY AWAY.
