Excellent care
I was very nervous going to appointment with Dr Leung because of an injury incurred during a visit to the ER that happened on a weekend. It needed to be quickly followed up on and I was having trouble getting a Urologist to see me. Dr Leung came through not only in seeing me but was very thorough in her care and explained each step of her process. She was comprehensive, caring and provided detailed options with probable outcomes. As a result I have chosen one of the options she recommended and I am comfortable following up with her yearly.

Doctor didn't like when I said I didn't trust big pharma anymore.became combative and condescending.

Dr Leung met all my expectations. She was friendly and knowledgeable and matter of fact concerning my Cystoscopy. Her explanations were detailed and helped me deal with some anxieties I was feeling. She had a forward thinking and exceeded expectations in being helpful in allowing me to weigh in on future treatment options. I would highly recommend her based on my experience.

Intelligent and cautious with a treatment plan. Recommended two tests which revealed extent and location of my issue which will prove valuable in the next phase of treatment. I would recommend her to anyone looking for sound professional advice and screening to catch and resolve a very serious issue.

APPALLING behavior - to say Dr. Cynthia Leung lacks compassion would be generous. She is incredibly disrespectful, inconsiderate and offensive. I have never been so insulted by a healthcare provider in my life, and there have been many. To be MOCKED for my health conditions by someone who is supposed to be there to help is beyond hurtful. I have never left an office or virtual visit, as this was, feeling worse than I did after my appointment with Dr. Cynthia Leung. I will not continue in her care and will certainly not recommend her to others.

After waiting 45 minutes from our scheduled appointment finally was seen by Dr. Leung. She did apologize for the wait stating she was running behind. Bottom line she was very nice for the amount if time spent with us. We did not feel rushed or hurried. She's very knowledgeable and addressed all our concerns.

Run the other way!
Refused to correct a mistake she made with the insurance company for MONTHS. I finally had to get care from another facility, but she still refused to have a one on one with the insurance provided and now I have stage 4 bladder cancer. I truly believe that if she had been a good doctor and willing to correct her mistake, I would be in a much better situation.

disappointed
Having recently relocated, I needed a new urologist to follow up on an ongoing issue and was referred by my PCP. I was made to feel like a doctor shopping hypochondriac, and was told she never needs to see me again. When I followed up with a question about a prescription I am still taking from a previous urologist, I was told "follow up with your PCP". Zero compassion or interest. I have never left a doctor feeling so demeaned.

I just took my mother to see Dr. Leung for a second time. The first time we seen her she was nasty but we gave her the benefit of the doubt because everyone has a bad day. Well we just left her office and she was 10 times worst than the first visit. My mother has kidney stones and Dr. Leung said they are getting bigger and that my mother should consider surgery before it escalates. Fine no problem. So my mother ask if there are risks with the surgery. Dr Leung turned around to face my mother and said “well thats a stupid question and of course there are risks death being one of them”. Talk about bed side manner and compassion. We didn’t even finish with the visit and got up and walked out.

I really don't like leaving bad reviews but others should be warned. She just doesn't have a good grasp on some of the full spectrum of treatments available to patients diagnosed with prostate cancer.
