Good, professional provider
I've seen a number of psychiatrists over lo these many years. Dr Javellana is well in line with the actions of other such providers. I found her to be polite and caring. If you aren't used to psychiatric practices, of course you might be surprised at how very brief and focused the maintenance visits are. Also, I may have fewer complaints than other reviewers since the medications I'm prescribed don't have potential for abuse.

Changed my prescriptions without ever meeting me in person, including some with danger of serious withdrawal issues. That overshadows the positive aspects of the visit.

Don’t do it... waste of time and money seeing this “doctor”. Talking to a wall is better than sitting in her office

Waste of time with this doctor. Totally self absorbed and wanted to tell me how I SHOULD feel. I lost my daughter to cancer in November, my son has ALS and I have been diagnosed with a paralyzed vocal cord. Unable to speak clearly since December. Also sold a home and moved to a new apartment in a town I love but had not been to in 6 years all of it done alone. She told me that I would get over my anxiety and depression with time. She gave me a script for something that I've tried and DID not wor

If I could put zero stars I would. Dr J made me go through a month of heavy withdrawals from clonopin she took me off a heavy dose without tapering. She took me off respidone after I been on it for many years. She didn’t give a reason even though I said I needed it. She won’t answer me. Even though I complained of severe depression and anxiety she refused to give me anything for it. She would see me for 5 to 7 minutes at a session. She never took a history. I had a nervous breakdown after th

She’s awful. Never took a history. Took me off a high dose klonopin after being on it for 29 years! Went through horrible withdrawals and had to be hospitalized. Took me off resperodone after I was on paranoia for 12 years. Never gave anything in its place. Never in her office for more than 8 minutes. She never asked me how I was doing!! She’s absolutely horrible!!!

I was assigned to Dr. Javellana after my Psychiatrist retired. On my first visit, she introduced herself and immediately advised me she would be lowering the dosages on my depression medication and eliminating others completely. When I asked how she determined my medication needs without asking me any questions, she stated she was following orders from her director to cut the amount of medication prescribed across the board. She let me know I was nothing more than a statistical goal to her.

She was absolutely the rudest, uncaring, judgmental, doctor I have ever seen in my life. And I usually see VA doctors. I will be making a formal complaint.

Dr. Javellana was very knowledgeable and receptive to hearing what I had to say. She carefully considered everything I said, carefully read all the information in my patient packet and came up with a creative action plan to help me deal with my situation better. She is very personable and friendly as well. I highly recommend this doctor.

Disagree with the other review. Dr Javellana was wonderful and didn't rush me at all. I was very nervous to be there and did NOT want to be put on any medication. She understood my concern and was able to help me anyway, no meds needed. She and her staff took fantastic care of me and made me feel right at home. Have recommended her office numerous time to people I cared about and not one has had a bad experience. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment.

Does not take the time to listen, she rushes you out her office and only treat you for what she wants to treat, not for the problems you are experiencing, would not recommend her to anyone
