Always Makes Me Feel Comfortable
Dr Goldberg has been my OBGYN for many years. As an elderly patient she always makes me feel comfortable. She has monitored a problem which could become dangerous. She is very organized and always points out other options. I am never rushed, and feel she is sincerely interested in her patients.

Dismissive
Dr. Goldberg came into the room and began by introducing herself, asked me the reason of my visit, and asked if I had any questions. I then asked my questions and she did a great job explaining everything to me, however, she did not present any empathy. I told her my reason why I wanted an IUD, which I shouldn't need to justify to the max, and she said, 'well it's entirely up to you, but you shouldn't be worrying about putting a foreign body in your body if you don't really need to.' Which I then said that it was beyond that, that I was doing it because I was concerned of the current & future climate for reproductive health and she replied, 'you know that shouldn't be the reason; I don't have a crystal ball or anything like that, but I can tell you that things won't go away in the next five minutes.' I found her comments absurd and dismissive to my personal reasons. Dr. Goldberg was the earliest available and now I know why.

Dr Goldberg excels in her understanding of changing healthcare needs in older women and providing timely referrals for mammograms and osteoporosis screenings. She always provides actionable preventive health care advice to read during wait times

Dismissive and condescending
I wound up with Dr Goldberg because I needed the first available doctor. Now I wish I'd waited for another opening. I left feeling like my questions and health concerns were stupid and the doctor made me feel like I was wasting her time. She actually spoke down to me when answering a few of them (which she seemed only interested in doing when I asked them a few times). I felt like I was being scrutinized for 'worthiness' of being in the room with her. It's unfortunate that there are doctors like her out there. They make me more wary of rolling the dice when finding a new provider and getting care. Who wants to be vulnerable about their health concerns if they're going to be treated like they're a waste of time??

She would rather be pretty than a good doctor.
Notified me to come 30 minutes early, so I left work to do so. When I arrived, I was told she would be 45 minutes late to my ORIGINAL scheduled time. Therefore, she was over an hour and 15 minutes late and I lost time from work.

Always listens
I have found Dr. Goldberg to be very open minded, and a good listener. She has been my doctor for many years and I would recommend her highly. She also was on call when one of my grandchildren was being born. She was highly professional, very caring, and my daughter still talks about what a wonderful doctor she is and how confident she felt with the quality of her care

Busy but worthwhile
Dr. Goldberg handled my high risk pregnancy. Baby and I are alive and well, 3 years later. She is a very busy lady and I have been frustrated with the office/doctor about scheduling and communication issues. She is fast and efficient. She and her staff actively communicate on the online portal. This is not a same day, same hour kind of doctor. She has many many patients and is a great doctor.

Worst Dr. Seen in Hospital
SEE SOMEONE ELSE. Horrible bedside manner. Extremely dismissive to concerns raised during our stay in the hospital after my wife gave birth to our daughter. Condescending and interrupted us in the middle of questions with short, dismissive answers. Really didn’t seem to care at all. I was shocked, as all of the other physicians from Ironwood were great. There are plenty of other options out there, seek out someone else.

I went in with concerns about my hormone levels raised by other doctors and she basically said that they are invalid and I just need to lose weight. She did not ask any questions about symptoms I have been experiencing, offer to run tests, or examine me in any way. I just sat in a chair while she told me to improve my diet and exercise. Mind you I hike about 6 miles a day and am vegan. Not a doctor for anyone overweight.

Dr. Goldberg is one of the smartest doctors I've come across. She handled both of my "non-textbook" pregnancies with care and intelligence. I was quickly diagnosed with severe pre-eclampsia and brought in to deliver a healthy baby. She has cared of me prior to wanting children, during both pregnancies and now after child bearing.

Dr Goldberg ruined my life. I had many issues during my pregnancy and she ignored and brushed off my Many serious complaints. Who gains 57 lbs in 8 weeks and has their doctor say “cut the carbs” ? Cynthia Goldberg will. And then you’ll end up in the hospital with doctors telling you you have undiagnosed severe preeclampsia and they need to cut the baby out now. My baby died because of her negligence.

I felt extremely rushed through appointments and the doctor seemed impatient with the fact that I had health concerns and questions. I often felt as if I left with a medication not being told how to take it and would have to communicate via the patient portal for specific direction which took longer than the two days the automated response said it would. I would urge you to seek a different doctor. When I finally decided to see someone else after four appointments I was left without answers and still in pain.

You can see Dr. Goldberg picks and chooses who she wants to be nice to from all the reviews I've read, she either has a 1 star or 5 star. This tells me she discriminates so I guess if she is nice to you on the first few visits, she accepted you in some way. However, for me, she was one of the worst doctor I've met. She had the worst be side manners and was impatient during all of my visits. I treat others as I want to be treated, I smiled, was courteous and polite. So for her to be inconsiderate and rude, I had to switch doctors because I couldn't deal with it anymore. Why are you a doctor if you don't want to deal with people? It's obvious she didnt learn about treating patients or manners when growing up.

Pretty awful bedside manner, appointments are always rushed, she is often distracted and is careless when reviewing medical history. Extremely dismissive of questions and cuts you off before you finish stating your concern. She is overly straight to the point to where it seems she couldn’t care less about you. Expect to wait over an hour in the lobby and room before being seen for five minutes of talking at you and smirking at concerns. Basically she feels over booked and it’s almost as if she’s just cramming in people to make money and get them out. Unfortunate experience.

Dr. Goldberg was amazing during my first pregnancy and delivery at TMC, over 10 years ago! I am excited to be moving back to the area and will be using her for my (third) current high-risk pregnancy, considering my second pregnancy/ delivery was horrible with another provider out of state.

I don’t know where the negative reviews are coming from but I had a wonderful experience. She’s straight to the point (No BS) but still incredibly thorough and professional. She delivered a healthy baby for me via c section and was very comforting and involved throughout my entire labor/delivery process which posed some complications. Highly recommend. If I ever have another baby I will definitely be going back to her! I liked her so much that her husband is my daughter’s pediatrician now!
