Dr. Curtis Childress, MD

Dr. Childress and others in the ENT office at 107 Millsaps Dr Hattiesburg, MS used voice recognition software for over a year and the office refused to pay for it. They paid for several years and then fell behind paying "due to Covid". We agreed to continue the service with the verbal assurance of payment. Now the office states they have no intention of paying.

Extremely disappointed with Dr. Childress. Following NP and Audiologist exams (excellent by the way) Dr. Childress entered the room chewing food, did not introduce himself, no greeting whatsoever, looked at my chart then (in a loud voice) "looks like you need hearing aids, the girls will help out". He left the room no other words were spoken. Thirty second visit. I can never recommend Dr. Childress to anyone.

if I could give this zero stars I totally would. during my appointment, dr childress performed a procedure that involves injecting with the use of a needle inside my nose and i verbally expressed how scared I was of needles. he then proceeded to pull the top of my shirt down, move my bra strap out of the way, and touch my chest/collarbone/shoulder under my shirt where I have 2 tattoos and he said “this can’t be that bad if you can get tattoos, especially right here” (one tattoo on my collarbone area and one on my shoulder) mind you I was wearing a big t shirt and you maybe could see a tiny area of tattoo from the outside of my clothing. i left the building sobbing and i felt extremely violated and uncomfortable. I was supposed to have a follow up appointment but I cancelled it because there is no way in hell i’m going back there.

Very good Dr & staff. Identified & helped my problem in a professional manner & his staff is courteous & professional.

No problem with Dr. Childress. Appreciate his ability to address issues quickly and professionally. I see him every 6 months for checkup on ears.

We had a great experience with Dr. Childress. He is not super chatty but very honest and genuine. He won’t do anything unnecessary. My kids love to see him also. It’s easy to get in and out.

Dr. Childress is wonderful. I use him and my children also see him. He is very down to earth. We all love him and will continue to see him. I had horrible allergies and he has changed my life!!

Dr. Childress is wonderful. I appreciate that he is extremely knowledgeable so that his medical advise can be trusted. Somewhat reticent and perhaps a tad shy, but a very skilled and caring surgeon.

Would rather not write about my experiences with Dr. Childress other than not recommend anyone to go see him. Went to the competition (with great results) to avoid ever going back him. Staff great, Dr. Childress not so much.
