Dr. Curtis Buchheit, MD

I used to recommend this practice but after multiple times of being prescribed medication without a examination or test to see if I even needed the medication I would not recommend it anymore. More than once he has prescribed the wrong medication for a problem I didn’t even have (like hypothyroidism). I also discovered when I asked questions through the patient porthole, as there is no phone nurse to call, he would then charge my insurance for a office visit, and prescribe me another medication with no test or examination. I would be a walking drug cocktail if I took all the medicine he has put me on without seeing or testing me.

Dr Buchheit is the most intentional doctor I have ever met. He responds to my emails in a timely fashion, shows he genuinely cares about my mental and physical well-being, and does the absolute best he can to provide educational research. He is professional, friendly, and organized. My family has been blessed by Dr. Buchheit in so many ways! I moved away to Indiana and I STILL choose to see him and seek his advice when I have concerns.

This guy is the real deal kind of Doctor. I am a nurse and feel like I have found the kind of Doctor that they all should be. This guy is knowledgeable and has so much experience! He is kind and compassionate and very intentional with his patients. He cares for the patient as a whole, not just a diagnosis. He is excellent with my young adult children and teaches them on their level. They LOVE HIM! He is a teaching facility and hires young adults that are interested in the medical field and teaches them on the job. I trust (Curtis) Dr. B explicitly but when needed he has no trouble referring you to a specialist. In today’s world of medicine, you can’t find a doctor like this anymore. Most doctors have you on “assembly line” style appointments. Dr B is not that Doctor! He listens and cares and he is very wise and experienced. I am so grateful I have found a physician that is the entire package! Thank you Dr. B and Wellspring staff! I have referred several friends. ALL ARE HAPPY!

Went to get a second opinion on a couple of health issues. He did such a great job of solving these problems I have decided to make him my PCP. Everything from meeting the receptionist to checking out went very well. Every staff member was thoughtful and caring. I have never been this pleased with a doctor's visit. I am confident that if someone has an issue with this practice, if they make doctor aware of it, it will be corrected ASAP.

Dr. Curtis is very friendly but really dropped the ball following up with my son's condition and we had to find a new primary doctor. Also, we experienced a very disorganized office, such as failing to record our first appointment in their system, sending meds to wrong pharmacy, difficulties in returning calls, etc.

Prescribes medication for things that the medication should not be prescribed for.

Fabulous with all of my kids. Always responsive when messaged or called. Goes above and beyond 100% of the time.

Difficult to make appointments, poor communication, poor follow up.

They give high quality personalized care and are so kind. Dr Curtis always taking time to listen and answer all my questions. I highly recommend them!

Dr Buchheit has been seeing my husband for a breathing issue and has given us how and some solutions that are working.

I was really impressed. What a nice concept to treat the body and the mental aspect in the same visit with only 1 co-pay. Sounds cliche but I really felt like they cared how things came out with me.

Dr. Buchheit's new office is beautiful! He and the rest of the team were so friendly and took the time to listen to what I was going through.
