Dr. Alvarez is awesome! She inserted and removed my IUD. The procedure was quick and as painless as inserting an IUD and removing one could be. She answers all of my questions and makes me feel comfortable with any of my concerns. Dr. Alvarez and her PA Veronica are genuine people and great at what they do.

Dr. Alvarez is a friendly lady, but honestly wouldn't recommend. I've been using her for a few years now. I've had more than one miscarriage and while she has done some testing, it was mostly testing I asked her about through my own research. She also has a VERY long wait time. I waited over an hour for my last visit to her office. Then when I got back to the room I had to wait another 30 minutes. When she was at the League City location her staff was so rude and laughing and ignoring patients. Again, she is nice and friendly, but I wouldn't recommend at an OB.

I absolutely loved Dr. Alvarez!!! Along with Veronica her PA. I had nothing but an amazing experience all the way through my pregnancy. I would recommend her to anyone especially having their 1st child like I did. She was very professional, very responsible, & very personable. I will definitely be using her for as long as she is in practice.

Went to Dr. Alvarez after having a horrible experience elsewhere. She delivered my second child which was a c-section. She was the best decision I ever made. Friendly, great bedside manor and great at what she does!

Absolutely RUN from Crystal Alvarez!! She is friendly enough during visits after making you wait hours, but very inexperienced! It cost me dearly. She did a horrible job with my episiotomy and now my vagina is permanently damaged and in pain almost 12 weeks later. I would not recommend using her for anything. She also uses scare tactics so you get induced when its convenient for her to be on call. She ruined the whole experience of having a baby for my family.

Dr. Alvarez is amazing! I delivered my first baby boy with her. She was not scheduled to be on call and was actually flying out that afternoon but stopped by the hospital on the way to the airport to go out of her way to make our experience the greatest I could have imagined. Prior to delivery, I never had to wait more than 5 minutes at the clinic appointments. She also does perineal massage and warm compress at delivery to ensure the most comfort for the mother! Highly recommended!!

Dr. Alvarez was very friendly and polite during my pregnancy. She told me that there would be no reason that the League City UTMB campus would be unable to care for my son if he were born after 35 weeks. She made uninformed decisions that put both my health and my child’s health in danger during delivery. I was allowed to push for too long and ended up with a c section with complications and my 40 week son was sent to another campus because LC has no NICU team in place.

She took very good care of me and my pregnancy. She cares, is compassionate, and will answer or find an answer to your questions. Makes sure you get the best care possible. Communicates with you about your health and well-being. I love Dr. Alvarez and don't want any other doctor but her. Once you find a good doctor it's hard to settle for second best.
