Excellent and Very Caring Doctor
Her bedside manner is the best. She visits before the procedure to explain what will be going on and after the procedure to explain the results. She is very friendly and puts her patients at ease. She recently changed her 'prep' protocol and it is a lot easier than before. I have been a patient for over 10 years and am very satisfied.

She urged me to get blood work done immediately after my first appointment, which I did even though it was nearly 4:00. When I called for results, I had to leave 3 messages before I received a return call. I was told Dr Wiese was out of town FOR 3 WEEKS. WHY didn't she tell me this? She didn't have anyone on call for her and there is no way to get a hold of her besides the office phone. What doctor doesn't have email in 2022? The front office are often rude & don't seem to care at all. They lied about forwarding my information so I could get my medication and I had to go 7 weeks without my medication. They also don't accept credit cards, cash & check only.

Possibly the worst Dr. I have ever heard of, I said heard of because even though she preformed a esophageal expansion on my 84 year old mother she has never followed up with anyone, my mom, myself, or my mother's tending VIP physician who has called her multiple times, in addition my mother had to have the same procedure done again within months. feeling no relief from whatever Dr. Weise did. do yourself a favor, seek treatment elsewhere

Dr. Wiese is FANTASTIC, she has treated me for years & many family members. I had no issue in referring her in the past; she is caring, takes the time to talk, explain, gave me the time to ask the questions I needed & get thorough answers. HOWEVER, unless you see her right after the procedure - good luck getting her attention thereafter. First & major problem is her front desk staff. The girl/s that answer/s the phone ARE rude, impolite & unconcerned. I have told Dr. Wiese on many occasions that her office staff is insanely rude & I have had to call often 10 times just to get a return call from Dr. Wiese. I have had several family member leave her after calling to speak with Dr. Wiese about severe stomach issues with NO RESPONSE. Many have moved to other doctors such as Dr. Desai. I am reluctant to find a new doctor since I have been with her so long however, its great to have her treat you & get on the calendar for a procedure but, if that is all may not be worth seeing her.

I can't say enough about Dr. Wiese and her staff. I am a 57 year old female and put off getting a colonoscopy until just recently. For obvious reasons, I didn't want to do it - I mean, who wants to do that??? Well, I finally did it! Jessica and Casey (who work in Dr. Wiese's office) were amazing! They were patient (no pun intended), understanding, informative, friendly etc. This is the way a front office should be! This was a routine screening, so I chose not to meet the doctor until the day of the procedure. When I did meet her, I knew right away that I made the right choice! I loved her! I was told everyone does love her, actually (so I know I'm not alone). She just had this reassuring vibe about her! The procedure went well! Everyone at Los Robles Surgical Center was also wonderful! Just a great experience overall! For anyone who is scared about getting a colonoscopy, I would say, don't be!!! Just do it!!! Dr. Wiese is amazing..... highly recommend! I also recommend the propofol! :)

Absolutely! - I was so impressed with Dr. Wiese - not only her expertise but her friendly demeanor. My previous Dr. retired and she was recommended to me by other RNs. I am an RN - I would not hesitate to recommend her to my family and friends. I was also seen at the SurgiCenter in TO. Everyone there were friendly and very professional. They made sure I was comfortable and informed about the procedure. The made sure that all COVID guidelines were followed. I feel fortunate to have Dr, Wiese as my Dr.

I highly recommend Dr. Wiese. She was not only capable but compassionate and put me at ease before the procedure. I know what some patients are talking about when they mention the rude person in the office. She answered the phone when I wanted to make my first appointment. Given her nasty and uninterested demeanor, I wondered if I had made a mistake selecting Dr. Wiese. However, in subsequent calls and office visits, I was treated with respect and a willingness the answer my questions. Perhaps the problem no longer works there??

Dr. Wiese is very compassionate. I'm so happy I found her. Her staff is attentive. I did have a lot of questions. The receptionist never seemed bothered by any of it. I recommend Dr.Wiese to a couple of friends. Who are just as thrilled with her and her staff.

My husband and I both love Dr. Wiese. But my husband has called for the last two days and talked to an extremely rude girl who answered the phones. My husband wanted to have Dr. Wiese call him because he is experiencing what he thinks is aspiration pneumonia. The receptionist said she talked to Dr. Wiese who told him to take an antacid. He called again this morning and was told she was doing procedures and would call him afterwards. Again no call! Two days and not a call back. I don't think she was even given the message. With all this Coronavirus going around he sure doesn't want to go to an urgent care. This woman is doing a disservice to Dr. Wiese because she probably lost a patient because of this. I would recommend the doctor but the office staff - no!

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Wiese?
I liked Dr. Wiese a lot and found that she was eager to listen to me, and had a few options to diagnose my chronic stomach issues. She sent me to get a gastric emptying test, to determine if I had gastroparesis. I called the day after my test and spoke with an extremely rude woman who seemed as if I was wasting her time. I asked if Dr. Wiese could call me at some point, and the woman said she would get back to me in the afternoon. Well, I did get a phone call later that day, but it was from the rude receptionist, not the doctor. The receptionist relayed a few vague details about my test, and then tried to hurry me off the phone. I asked if I could speak to the doctor and she got very defensive and basically said the doctor didn't have time to call and discuss the details of my test. I needed to make an appointment, which wasn't available for another month. This is absurd and such poor practice. They might as well say, I am not a priority, just a dollar sign. Good bye.

Dr. Weiss is kind, a good listener, compassionate and positive. Her office staff, however, leaves much to be desired. When I call with a question or to make an appointment they give the impression that I am bothering them and often get a cursory return call or none at all. It is an unpleasant way to begin a visit to begin an appointment which is of great importance to a patient. Perhaps a bit of office etiquette training could solve this issue.

I love Dr. Wiese-but her front desk staff needs some training in speaking with patients. They are defensive and rude. If you don't like what you do, do something else. It really is too bad that great doctors have awful front desk staff. Not all do, but it's more common than not.

Not worth your time. I spoke with Jessica who was so incredibly rude that I ended up cancelling my appointment. If she is the face of the business, no thanks. All she could do is tell me their procedure and that the doctor was busy that basically I had to arrive an hour early and wait. My time meant nothing! So sad that such a a rude person is front face of the business. I would have given a zero if possible.

I have been her patient 7 years and am COMPLETELY happy with Dr. Wiese and her office staff. She takes the time to explain your condition and treatments in a way that is understandable and not intimidating. I never feel rushed at office visits and she always takes all the time needed to answer questions and put my concerns at ease. I recently needed surgery and her referral was not only excellent but she was able to have me seen on a priority basis. THANK YOU DOCTOR.
