(Note: She is with Lifestance now) Dr Secarea's altruistic reasons for treating patients is honorable. If you have a difficult condition to treat and have had other practitioners not understand your condition, or worse other practitioners who are dismissive, know that Dr Secarea listens and helps patients who are in need. If you come with all of the research you can and prior evaluations, she will listen to you and work with you. If you have unusual medical needs, if you give her reasonable time, she will work with you. I still remember her saying the words "I believe you", when I stated certain medical needs that are unusual however do rarely occur. We're still honing in to balance her comfort level with my need for effective medical treatment, but she has been an advocate, and a listening ear. She also pointed out observations about myself which I never noticed, and that little observation made me understand just a little more about myself. I love this doctor. You might too.
