I was very impressed with Dr. Rusu. I have not seen an MD in person for over a year due to COVID. She took extra time confirming my medical history. She was personable, courteous, knowledgable and kind. I don't understand why previous reviewers use Healthgrades in order to criticize the safety precautions this practice is employing for its patients during COVID. Yes, the check in process was time consuming and annoying and could have been better explained in advance, but I will gladly put up with inconvenience in order to be kept safe.

Dr Rusu is a very pleasant lady, however she is not thorough at all. I am a retired RN, and very familiar with patient assessment. Since going to her I feel like I don’t even have a doctor anymore. I read the reviews about the time she spends with each patient, and to her credit,I have to say that that isn’t her fault. The health system is the one that dictates how much time the physicians can spend with their patients. The time she does spend however is mostly spent on the computer and not examining the patient. This is also due to the amount of documentation that is required by physicians. I am looking for another physician, but I fear that I won’t find one any better as they all must follow the demands of the health system. The medical care is not what it once was.

I understand things are flipped upside down due to COVID, but when I called with an infection/pain issue that has a couple of cross-over symptoms, they said it was fine to come in and get it checked. When I got there, I did the COVID screening call where they asked questions and said it was fine to come up. Then I got inside the building and was stopped by a COVID screener, who asked me the same questions, and because I had 2 of the symptoms on her checklist, I was blocked from going up and told to go back to my car. Instead of my doctor confirming that I was fine, they called me back and said I could not come up! What? You literally just said I could 5 minutes before when I answered the same questions with you! I went to the ER in another town instead for assistance and got the COVID test as well. Turns out I was negative as everyone suspected. Very disappointed that my doctor and her team basically left me out to dry with a serious pain issue + wasted my time, and will never go back.

I definitely would not recommend. She is rude, does not seem to prepare for visits (never knows my health history), and makes me feel like a burden.

I am a patient with many health issues. She doesn't follow through with the care needed. I discussed my needs with her almost every time I seen her but she would not chart those needs or follow through. She lies in fact 3 times in one appointment with a witness present. She gives you 15 minutes and gone. You can only discuss one issue rather you have a host of them needing to be addressed. She acts like she is in a hurry, her time is too valuable and your whole health is not a concern. After 8 months of care the lies and uncaring took a toll and I found a new Doctor. Most of her staff is kind and courteous. One Nurse is mean and treats you as if you haven't brain. (I was a Nurse for years. )

I’ve been going to Dr. Rusu for more than a year and she is a very attentive physician. She is open to answering questions and is very approachable. I’ve never had to wait for her with any of my appointments.

Mine is the outside perspective as it was my husband who saw Dr.Rusu It seems as though Dr. Rusu has now become more attentive to her schedule rather than to her patient. To you who left the 5 star review, I can only think you saw her in the beginning when her patient was her priority. I would also like to add that her receptionist also has the schedule first attitude, it is very disappointing!
