Limited knowledge on endometriosis
I was convinced that there was something wrong with me after dealing with infertility and heavier periods. After coming across endometriosis, I was convinced I had it. I was told by Dr. Crisler that my periods would be so bad that I would be in the hospital if I had endometriosis. I was referred to Fertility Associates of Memphis who wanted to complete 3 rounds of IUI before doing a laparoscopy which would have been $3,000 wasted. I am so glad I went with my gut and chose Dr. Podraza at St. Francis to do a laparoscopy as he found that I had stage 3 endometriosis. Understanding that people make mistakes, I wanted Dr. Crisler to know this information so I emailed her. I received no response. The severity of the symptoms of someone with endometriosis does not always equal the severity of the illness. The average wait time for a diagnosis of endometriosis is 8-10 years. My hope is that through this review, we can close that gap and allow girls to get the help they need.

Dr. Crisler is an AMAZING Dr. She has brought 2 of my children into the world. I HIGHLY recommend her. She cares about her patients and their feelings.

Awesome physician and surgeon
After a horrible experience with another physician’s group, I was apprehensive about care but I was experiencing an issue that was life threatening if I didn’t have surgery. Dr. Crisler provided information and options that made my surgery a breeze.

Dr. Crisler is such a kind and caring doctor. She is attentive to my needs and listens to me. After having a terrible experience with another Ob/Gyn in Memphis, she has relieved my anxiety about seeing an Ob/Gyn. I have seen her in both the office setting and also in the outpatient surgical setting. She is a great doctor, and I have great trust in her!
