Shoulder and neck pain
Dr Zeman did a careful look at the X-rays and showed me in detail what he sees. He used a mark up tool that made it clear. Plus he advised what research info there is about my condition. I have a good path forward to recuperate thanks to Dr Zeman! I would recommend his work to anyone needing solutions

Follow up after 6 weeks of therapy
What stood out from the follow up from Physical Therapy after 6 weeks was I was doing really well and a lot better than my surgeon had expected. His encouragement helps and his continousness assuring me the process of healing will get better and to remember a full recovery is like two to three years. He said keep doing what your doing.

My long time very valued Orthopedic Doctor.
After six years from the previous visit i returned for diagnosis of my left shoulder pain. As before the doctor x-rayed my shoulder and chose treatment i concur with, without immediate surgery. In a month time i will see him for a return visit. Dr. Zeman is not only an excellent doctor but also very caring, compassionate and intelligent professional. I am very fortunate to be his patient.

Dr. Zeman answered my questions and we discussed medication’s and what would be best for me for my osteoarthritis. Overall it was a good visit and I was referred to see a different doctor to discuss other options if for the future if I needed another knee surgery. I think the doctor Zeman has a lot of knowledge regarding orthopedics.

Disappointing Surgery Outcome
My recent experience with Dr. Zeman was disappointing and concerning. Initially scheduled for arthroscopic knee surgery to remove two loose bodies, he only found one during the procedure. He claimed the second was likely lodged in my soft tissue and couldn't be retrieved, citing lack of consent to cut into it. The surgery dragged on for nearly two hours, and post-op, I suffered adverse side effects from prescribed medication which were dismissed by the nurse at my post op appointment.Worse still, Dr. Zeman dismissed my concerns at the follow-up, assuring me the missing loose body wouldn't cause issues. Yet, it promptly locked my knee once I had full range of motion. Seeking a second opinion, I went to an orthopedic doctor at Cedar-Sinai, where they instilled confidence from the start, expressing no reservations about addressing the loose body. Within three weeks of consultation, the doctor performed arthroscopic surgery and successfully removed the loose body in under an hour, withou

Gifted and Kind Dr. Zeman
I typically feel like I'm walking into family and friends when I go to Ventura orthopedics. I have been seeing doctor Zeman for over 4 years and each time I am there I have always had a good experience. I feel he hears me, is listening so that he can. And I think that's a large part of healing - that connection with your doctor and feeling heard. I can understand what he's saying and can relate.. His advice is always spot on. If I am resistant, he works with me around whatever my fears are, offering information that helps me understand and feel comfortable, allowing me to take baby steps toward my goal if I need. He's sensitive to pain issues. I really am grateful to have found him. I trust Dr. Zeman! And, I thank him

Awesome Dr. Zeman!!
Had a urgent knee problem 2 months post surgery where I was unable to place weight on my leg, my surgeon from same office was unavailable for several days. The staff contacted Dr. Zeman within the practice & he made time to see me immediately, listened to my complaint, performed x-rays, found the problem and recommended treatment. Thanks to the staff & Dr. Zeman I feel I’m on the right path to recovery. Great “bed side” manners. Thank you!

Dr. Zeman is an excellent surgeon, with a direct and confident demeanor that made me feel immediately at ease and in good hands. I had a large rotator cuff tear that he was able to repair and I am so grateful. I also appreciate the efficiency in the scheduling of pre-op, surgery and post-op appointments.
