Don't like him because He won't see me or my husband because I called 2 times for pain medicine that was already past due on refill from him. He just didn't like that I called twice to see if he would refill the prescription. It was a much needed medicine. Since then my husband has had an implant put in his back to block the pain. He is much better now without any help from Dr Mcmullen . It has been 4 years since and now I still can't see ANY Dr's at ETMC or UT Health clinics in surrounding towns. This has created a hardship for me. He went too far ....my husband really needed the medicine at that time. It was a weekend and also a holiday....making this medicine 3 days past time to fill. We didn't get it early because you have to call on the day to be filled and then he wouldn't fill till the next day... normally. The repercussions were too severe....it like for life I can't be seen .

I would not recommend this doctor because he doesn't follow through. He takes forever to call in prescriptions, still waiting on blood work results that were done in December and to me he just likes to hear himself "talk" This doctor doesn't seem to take very good care of his patients, or at least hasn't with us. My husband who was having stomach issues, he did some blood work and said he would get back with him on what medications to take....still waiting. So we went to a different doctor that actually cares and took good care of us.

Definitely a joke of a physician. If you can call him that. HIdes behind his staff and puts the office staff up to doing his dirty work. He did not have a chance to tell me he would not treat me any longer. I fired him. Had meds all screwed up for one and is not truthful. Glad to be rid of him. Don't need an unprofessional in my life.

I literally thank God that I found Dr. McMullen as he's helped me more than any doctor I've ever had, and I've been to many, many doctors in my 65 years. He goes well out of his way to help, not just me, but all of his patients. If UT Health/ETMC is smart they'll do whatever is necessary to keep Dr. McMullen in their employ. GDP

Dr. McMullen has always taken good care of my husband and I. Getting a renewal on your prescription can be difficult at times, however, think about all the patients he sees a day. The people in front, all the nurses have always treated us with respect. It is a busy world and at times I've had to wait. I am thankful we have a doctor of McMullen's talents and knowledge in Mineola.

Non ethical doctor. Would not call or mail blood work results after several requests to do so. Had to call his office two weeks after blood drawn and was told all okay. 60 days later we called again to get a copy of the blood work results, office staff said some things were out of norm and she would have doctor call. He refuses to do so to review the lab results and 3 days later we get a letter saying he would no longer be our doctor. Don't go to this so called doctor

Had an appointment for March 8. Waited one hour. Decided to leave and rescheduled he appointment for March 15. Kept appointment, Waited on hour and left. Sent email requesting they email us he test results. They sent back email saying to reschedule. We did and kept April 6 appointment. Waited 20 minutes then staff gave us letter saying he did not want to see us and to find another doctor. We don't even live in Wood county and had three round trips for nothing.
