Dr. Craig McCoy, DO

Dr. McCoy performed my hysterectomy and my consult prior to surgery. To be fair, the surgery went well. But I am 40 years old and was recommended to get a total hysterectomy at age 40 as a preventative measure against cancer and he did NOT prepare me at all for what surgical menopause would entail (he only said vaginal dryness and hot flashes) but completely ages your body in irreversible ways and puts you at higher risk of other diseases (including other cancers). Nine months later, I have such bad acid reflux I can barely eat anything, eyesight rapidly disintegrated, severe pain during sex, losing bone density, night sweats every night, my entire body is pear-shaped, hair is falling out, etc. The quality of my life rapidly deteroriated in just a few months and will only get worse for the rest of my life. I would never have done this at such a young age if I knew. He either didn't know or withheld this information from me. I feel like the lack of information ruined my life.

Dr. McCoy is a great doctor. He actually cares about his patients and listens to their concerns so that he can make an informed decision regarding their care.

I always have a good visit when I see Dr McCoy. He is knowledgeable about all the things I have gone to him for.

I don't like going to the doctor and I don't know what to say when I have gotten there and Dr. McCoy is the worse kind of doctor for my personality type. Also he tends to treat based on symptoms and never verified by doing test in my experience. He is a very nice guy but you will have to make you intentions and expectations clear to him because he doesn't ask much and tends to perform guessmedicine.
