Difficult To Deal With
Dr. Hunter lied to both me and my wife when asked if he knew any urinary specialists that could remove my prostate after Image Guided Radiation Therapy. He gave both of us false hope by saying that he knew such specialists in California that could perform this procedure. Then, at the next appointment when I asked if he could make contact with them and perhaps set up a video conference, he denied knowing any such specialists. He then told me that I should find these specialists myself! When he seemed to be out of ideas as to how to help me he began ordering tests that had been ordered before and which were not helpful to my condition. At the first hint of questioning him about his care he sees you as attacking him and gets very nasty. In May 2024, he performed a TURP on me, my 8th such procedure, it failed immediately and he then indicated that he did not know why! He is undoubtedly the worst Doctor of any type that I have had in my 77 years.

A whole lot of nothing.
I gotta say, my initial appointment he seemed very informed and willing to help. Scheduled some testing for blood in the urine and pain. But in the end? Nothing. No diagnosis.. no more ideas. “Maybe it’s back pain.” Yes.. back pain causes blood in the urine. Makes perfect sense. It was surreal. I have a diagnosis now.. but not from him. Just go somewhere else I guess. Waste of time.

Worst Dr I’ve been to in my entire life. I absolutely despise Dr Hunter. Would not see him again if he was the last urologist on the planet. If you like feeling very uncomfortable and having nothing explained to you then he’s your guy.

Unqualified
Poor communication, gets angry if you ask questions, did not perform biopsy correctly, had to abort the procedure. Seems to slow the whole process that appears to get more visits.

Absolutely one of the best doctors I have ever seen. Takes time, explains and genuinely cares. I have never felt more cared about by a doctor much less a specialist. You do usually have to wait awhile to see him but 100 percent worth waiting for

Dr. Hunter is not only a well informed expert, but has a great bedside manner. He asked detailed questions, educates you, and makes descisions with you instead of at you.

I see a lot of negative comments ( old outdated ones) on staff .My husband and I experienced a good, helpful, patient staff on 6/21 Dr. Hunter was very helpful and gave my husband all the time & answers he needed. My husband was always healthy & never ever has taken any kind if Meds.(72yrs old) so he needed& got the time & answers to his questions.

Excellent! Brilliant! The Greatest! I fell through a roof. One of the many injuries I experienced was I obliterated my urethra. I lived with a suprapubic catheter for 8 months. Dr. Hunter repaired me and thanks to him I have all my functions restored. I am grateful, appreciative, and I thank the universe that Dr. Hunter exists. Thank you Dr. Hunter. Sincerely, thank you.

The front office staff is far from welcoming. They should really be used to people who may not be feeling well and if they just might have to repeat themselves for someone who didn't hear them the first time don't lose patience. Once asked to come to the exam rooms a nurse says sit in the chair so I can take your blood pressure...no hello, no how are you? Very robotic. After the pressure I was lead into an exam room and told to wait. I had to ask what my pressure was. After a little while the nu

Saw Dr.Hunter for a vasectomy and I could not have asked for a better experience. He clearly explained the limitations and risks of the procedure and what I could expect, clearly explained the procedure as he was doing it, joked and made small talk to help me relax, and did a superb job. The staff was professional and courteous, and the office was very clean and convieniently located

Kind considerations, professional, effective, helpful. Dr. Hunter welcomed my questions, answered them with clarity, took his time and displayed a great amount of concern for my well-being, which certainly instills a great amount of trust and confidence in him. For these reasons, I would highly recommend him to all.
