No Show.
Learned of metastases via the patient portal in the ER. Offered no help once treatment had failed. Staff did their best but the unavailable docs caused such anxiety. Unforgivable failure to communicate, to show compassion.

Highly recommend
During diagnosis and treatment of my rare cancer, Dr. Hildreth has been thorough, clear and patient in his explanations and answers to my questions, is always very kind and attentive. Even when the office is busy, he doesn’t rush through appointments. When I sent him an email on a Sunday night, I received his response first thing Monday morning. I appreciate the intimacy of his infusion center staffed by excellent, personable nurses who know me. I appreciate that he has met with me prior to each infusion, a practice that does not seem to typical. His office nurses and nurse practitioner are also very professional and kind, providing consistent, individualized attention. I am confused by negative reviews on this site; my experience with Dr. Hildreth has been stellar. In fact, during two separate procedures I had at Mercy Hospital, two nurses independently mentioned that if they had cancer, he would be their choice.

Do yourself a favor and get another doctor. Talked me out of getting surgery for a year till I finally did on my own. Should not have waited that long. Hildreth also had his nurse tell me neuropathy was not caused by chemo even though it started after chemo. A lie. He wouldn't even talk to me.

Dr. Hildreth is the last person I would recommend when going to an oncologist. He is not personable and is completely rude to his patients. I have wasted so much of my time. In the first appointment I had scheduled with him, he was very hopeful for my condition and the different treatment regimens available for me. At the second appointment, he told me I needed to start thinking about hospice and was extremely rude! I cannot believe this man is a doctor! Please save yourself some time and do not go to him.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Hildreth and his staff. They were professional yet very friendly; called me at home the week after a treatment to see how things were going, and always had time to answer my questions and ease my anxiety.

My first visit to Dr. Hildreth, he spoke only to his nurse. Did not speak to me.. I thought maybe it was an off day. My second visit, one year later, I was asked to change my appointment from 9am to 9:30 am. No problem!! 9:30 I went back to the room with his nurse. She asked me questions and did not have answers to my questions, which is okay. She is not the doctor! 10:00 I was ushered out of the room to make my appointment for next year. Dr. Hildreth comes into the office, walks past me, never acknowledging that he missed our appointment!! Goes over to joke and talk with his staff!! Is this High School?!? I took the day off work, so did my husband!! This is my health!! I have never been treated so poorly!! I paid my copay to a doctor that was a no show!! I would not recommend him to anyone!! I am on the search for a new doctor!!
