I wouldn't go to anyone else. I messed with a money driven cardiologist at OHH for a year with medications/4 cardioversions/un necessary testing etc. that never got me out of a fib. My life was on hold because I was short of breath, couldn't drive, felt exhausted all the time. Dr. Jewell gave me an heart ablation It saved my life! What I LEARNED is a lot of Drs give a arterial type ablation which at best will last 2 yrs so you will have to repeat that procedure. Dr Jewell ablations are 90-95% effective because it is different than the rest. Do your OWN research on the different types of ablations and which are more effective .His procedure has kept me out of a fib for 8 yrs now. My husband had a fib 1 1/2 yr and worked w VA Drs. They were not able to keep him into rhythm. Dr Jewell had him back in rhythm in 30 days with medication only. It's been over a year now. He is in high demand or there maybe a wait period to see him. I find him to be honest, not money driven, I trust him.

I have a heart condition and start having afib. He put in a loop reader, didn't tell me. Afib got worse. He put in a pacemaker. After that he was finished with me. I kept having problems he just ignored me. Changed doctors, got the help I needed. Do not know who these people are who put glowing reviews here but am thankful he helped them. As long as your condition is by the book, he is fine. If not, that is your problem, and you are left to suffer.

Dr. Jewell did a procedure on me in 2015 after having assured me that he could fix my problem and put the ball in my court. Fix it he did, I have had no symptoms to this day. He won't candy coat issues but you can trust that if he says he can fix it he will.

Dr. Jewell provides top notch care with a passion for helping others and a high standard of personal ethics. He spends the time necessary to explain medically and answer questions. He went above and beyond for our family. He treated our daughter who had very complex electrical dysfunctions and needed very difficult medical interventions. Dr. Jewell’s combined surgical skill, personal ethics, and patient care are exemplary.

My 79 year old husband was in congestive heart failure, with atrial fibrillation and Dr. Jewell brought him back from the brink. When other mitigating medical conditions presented themselves Dr. Jewell brought in the appropriate consulting physicians and though it's been a rough and rocky road his overall health has not been better in years! Dr. Jewell is an awesome dr. He explains things throughly and doesn't seem too rushed. He's honest and doesn't sugar coat things either, which is important when dealing with cardiac issues.
