Was referred because of a irregular EKG after chest pain. Showed up, told him what happened and literally said 'don't do that again, you will die.' So obviously made my family concerned, after stress test, heart Cath, walked in the room and said, 'you didn't have heart attack.' I expressed concerns about some heart rate issues I was having and was blown off. Huge waste of time and money and still don't feel right.

Chest pain scare - great doctor
Dr. Mattar was very straight to the point and decisive. I appreciate him being direct. Really like him and will continue to use him as my Cardiologist. Very good at his job.

Follow up to heart attack and heart surgery by Dr. Mattar. I did not appreciate his demeanor and attitude when I asked questions. Seemed very impatient and irritated that I should ask so many questions

Dr Mattar is friendly, patient and explains very well what he is going to do in his procedure. I feel very comfortable going to him and trust his decisions.

Total disappointment of the whole cardiology department at Hutchinson Hospital. The cardiologists have very poor bedside manners and act like they could care less about your well-being. Just another good reason why people go to Wichita

I think he talks down to me, is abrupt and not very patient. I do not think he cared at all about my serious concerns about a heart cath. all he wanted was for me to say I would do it. If I did not, then I was wasting his time, and my money!!
