Dr. Cory Maxwell, MD

During preop Dr. Maxwell was right outside of the curtain casually discussing the surgery and how they could save time. He is the anesthesiologist and it seemed odd and was very concerning that he was so casually talking like this in earshot of the patient. When he came in we asked about the comments and if the surgeon had been consulted. He stated that HE was in charge of that and had quite the attitude. When the surgeon arrived he was told about the comments and seemed very embarrassed. If it was not for confidence in the surgeon the surgery would have been cancelled until a different anesthesiologist could be arranged.
