Dr. Cory Lemoine, DO

Dr. Lemoine became my Primary Care Physician following my relocation from Baton Rouge to the Broussard area about five years ago. Now in my 70's I need a little more time during doctor-patient consultations. He is patient, thorough, and attentive during our discussions and coordinates well with the other specialists on my total health care team. I do use the patient portal to communicate on routine matters, and my messages are always reviewed and answered promptly. Members of his front office team are cheerful and responsive - unlike most medical admin teams who treat patients (their customers) as intrusive distractions from their routine.

He was my husband's Dr. He kept trying to overide cardiologist and kept trying to add medicine. He first went to him after his Dr of 18 years retired. He had been having extreme swelling in the legs so bad he couldn't wear shoes some days and extreme tiredness. We had a suspicion it was his bp medicine but he wouldn't listen. He kept raising the dose. So he finally went to a cardiologist that immediately took him off the meds he was on and put him on something else. In one month he had no more swelling and tiredness was greatly better. The medicine was put on his chart as allergy. After that my husband told him the cardiologist will control blood pressure. He constantly wanted to keep trying to add a medicine. His last and final visit was he tried putting him on the medicine on his allergy list. My husband don't always pick up on things if I'm not with him. He didn't even realize he wanted him back on it. When it was picked up I looked at the bottle before he took any. I was shocked
