Dr. Corey Shamah, MD

Completely unprofessional, no bedside manner and lacks empathy. As a new patient to Dr. Shamah, I only needed two visits before I decided to never step foot in that practice again. Without any additional scans, tests or a biopsy, he told me that I was going to die in a year! No sympathy shown and very matter of fact about it. You are just a number in a book to this doctors schedule. I dropped Aurora and have since then established care elsewhere.

Face in the computer, zero eye contact, zero information give even after asking multiple questions. I was treated like I was an idiot for asking questions and then shuffled off after two minutes to make another appointment. Asked if there was anything I could do before this cancer becomes full blown, answer: nothing. Very disappointing and scary but I received zero compassion. I wonder if he'd treat his significant other this way? I get more information from MAYO Clinic website than my own doctor - poor behavior.

Dr. Shamah, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for not only your medical expertise in the field of oncology, but for your compassion as you treat my brother Kevin. He has expressed that you are the only Doctor that has understood his extreme pain and has taken the initiative to help him with pain that is not directly related to oncology. He needed a medical angel/advocate and you are it! Warm wishes and prayers as you continue your work.
