My daughter kaitlyn was a patient for about 6 months. She was also in an eating disorder treatment facility and is doing ok. She had some stomach pain which made it harder to eat. A stool sample should have been performed but no one at Seattle children's suggested it. I took her to a gastroenterologist, Dr. Bisher Abdullah and he did a stool sample immediately and discovered she had SIBO and should be on a low fodmap diet. My daughter's eating did improve after the lowfodmap diet and her pain issues were resolved. All she needed was a simple stool sample.
