There is another side to this doctor!
So glad he left Calais Dermatology in Baton Rouge, La. I know he seems professional and nice! I thought so too when he was my doctor, however the last time I saw him for my dermatology visit a few years back, he showed me the monster he truly is. He was absolutely rude, arrogant and completely unprofessional, all in front of my daughter. Now, I could see if I had been rude to him, which for the record, I was not. His not that great. I highly recommend another doctor in this practice!

We as a family have been with him for quite a long time. Our son had a cyst type acne where there were some the size of nickels. Dr Patterson worked very hard to clear the acne. We were worried that he would have scars, but no he looks great! Not 1 scar! He shows major compassion & speaks to patients, is in no rush.

My daughter went to see him and he was great on every level. Very professional and caring. He diagnosed, treated her and she was better quickly. I had seen a couple dermatologists before him and was very impressed by how almost everything about him set him apart from the rest. We felt he just wanted to help our skin be the best it could be. He really sets the bar in my opinion. He was patient, attentive and pleasant and takes his practice seriously. I liked him so much I started seeing him too.

My daughter and I both see Dr. Patterson for skin conditions such as Eczema. I initially only read Dr. Patterson's review on line and I was impressed because he indicated that he enjoys working with children. After seeing my 6 year old for the first time, he put us both at ease by his beside manner and true concern to make her skin condition better. I would recommend Dr. Patterson to anyone who has struggled with skin conditions and wants a caring doctor striving to make your skin better.
