Unhelpful and Poor Listening Skills
Dr. Plein gave me 60 seconds of her time. She barely made eye contact and did not actually listen to my concerns. She minimized and invalidated everything that was said. Do NOT waste your time.

I received approximately 8 minutes of face time for a severe nasal drip that is affecting my ability to function. Not only did Dr. Plein not particularly listen to my concerns, she treated me as though I had nothing wrong. The actual "exam" lasted maybe 45 seconds with a cursory peek in my ears and nose. She mostly focused on the fact that I don't have insurance and am self-pay and seemed to be leary of doing anything other than prescribing a nasal spray. 18 days and counting and the amount of fluid that drips from one nostril is downright scary. Biggest waste of my time and money ever. The office, receptionists, and nurse were caring and congenial.

Had surgery with Dr Plein to fix a deviated septum and chronic sinus infections. She was very nice, courteous and took time to answer all my questions. I’m feeling great and breathing awesome! I would recommend her to anyone with similar problems.

I went in to see Dr Plein because I was having difficulty breathing and swallowing. Multiple doctors told me that I needed to see an ENT and consider having my tonsils out. I explained this to the doctor and she took a quick look in my throat. She said it was fine and dismissed me. She did not use a camera to look in my nose and throat nor did she address any of the issues I reported. She did send me a bill for $200 though. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. I called after receiving the bill to let them know that I wasn't sure what they were charging me for as none of my concerns were addressed and was pretty much told that's just the way it is.

I had a chronic sinus infection for 4 years. Dr. Plein quickly diagnosed my condition and performed a surgical procedure that greatly relieved my symptoms and discomfort. To my surprise, I never felt any pain in my nose after the surgery and didn't need any pain medication! I am breathing better and my sinuses are clear for the first time in years. She treated me respectfully and utilized her experience and expertise to help me feel better. I recommend her to others suffering from sinusitis.

Dr. Plein is wonderful! She was the only ENT who was able to schedule me within the first week after a suspicious ultrasound. Other places said it would take 4-6 weeks. Dr. Plein was so kind and compassionate. My biopsy results showed thyroid cancer. She called me immediately with the results and was completely calming. She got me in for surgery ASAP and within 2 weeks the cancer was completely excised. Her gentle and confident manner made a scary situation almost stress free.

All I wanted was to breathe better.I went in for a deviated septum and scar build up removal from previous surgery. $898.64 .She said it was all covered by my insurance so I proceed with the surgery. I later get bill of $11755.00 ??.Only to find out by my Insurance co that she did a rhinoplasty which they do not cover. Months later still dealing with billing issues.

Dr. Plein is simply the best ENT to be found. She helped provide valuable reassurance for my wife when she swallowed a fish bone, including a competent, kind, and informative overview of the CT scan and X-ray. She did all of this with such compassion and patience. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
