Proceed with Caution
I would NOT recommend Dr Collen I. Kennedy's services to Anyone. I had surgery 6 months ago with Dr. Colleen Kennedy, MD, my results are far from normal. The three consultations I had before having surgery were very cheering, expertise-driven, and confident of her ability to conquer the job. I have previous experience, so I knew what to expect from the surgery. Nothing could have prepared me for this disaster of a surgical procedure and there was no compassion and nonchalant post-care treatment of the abscess that I sustained from Dr. Kennedy.

Avoid
I have never had such a horrible experience with a doctors office like I have had with that of Dr. Colleen Kennedy. In my opinion, She is not accommodating to patient’s needs, and in my opinion, withholds treatment and prescriptions, so that she can get more visits/revenue. Very uncooperative. The most rigid doctors office I’ve ever been to. Plus, I was injured by the Plebotomist that works there. No one has ever had difficulty drawing blood from my arm in my life. I have only had two doctors since my early 30s and both of them I left because they retired. I wholeheartedly regret ever stepping foot in Dr. Colleen Kennedy’s office.

I am a newer patient to this practice, but it was a great move. Very busy, but fast moving. You never wait for too long, but if there is a back up the staff is great about letting you know. Angela at the front desk is always kind and pleasant to speak to. Victoria the nurse in the back is so knowledgeable and seems to run circles around the office. There isn’t an area I haven’t seen her work but always smiling and works hard to make you feel comfortable with any questions or plan of care. I have also spoke to Deanna on the phone and she seems to really try to get urgent care appts in quickly. I’d recommend this practice to everyone!

Could not get new patient paperwork in advance of appointment for no valid reason. So we had to show up 15 minutes early for paperwork we could have brought completed. My son waited for 20 minutes in a gown - no one came to see him. So we left. We are going to seek a practice that values our time as much as theirs. We had four appointments scheduled over four consecutive days. I wasn't willing to go through the 15 minutes early four days in a row, when I could bring paperwork with me.

I have been a patient almost 3 years, I have never seen Dr. Kennedy. I couldn't identify her if I was paid, yet she reaps the benefits of my medical insurance. I am only seen by Physician Assistants and I have been rotated through 3 of them now. I'm not sure how you can build a rapport with your doctor if you've never seen her. Very disappointing. The front desk personnel is VERY rude.

I've seen Dr Kennedy’s for a long time, and while I can’t begin to describe how great she is, some of her staff ruins it. The front desk can be rough to deal with, a newer girl they have just says ok over and over when asking her questions. Andrea is very rude and condescending. There is also great staff Janelle is very pleasant, smart and easy to deal with on the phone. Victoria the nurse in the back is always kind and happy, and knowledgeable, she like the dr, really cares about the patients.

My daughter had an appt on Friday afternoon. We drove 45 min to the appointment and with unexpected traffic, we were 10 minutes late. When we checked in, we were told the appt was cancelled and we would have to reschedule. We not 15 min late, maybe not even 10! I have never heard of any office with this ridiculous policy if it even is one. Beware if you are traveling here and a few min late, your appt might get cancelled! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Update on the review about losing power and having to wait 8 weeks. I got a call back from the office to book me into a cancellation. Was in that same week. Her office is confusing to work with. Lots of PAs, communication through emails. Kennedy is great. New office if bright, clean and reflects her personality. If I could figure out how to work with the practice seamlessly, I would give it five stars.

I saw a few different Dr's and they were very nice. But, you can't call your Dr or request your Dr to call you back and answer important concerns you have about medicine you're taking, the receptionist told me "they don't call patients" and I have to use this online software they use to communicate via email. This is a big turn off and comes off as insensitive. She made is difficult to even relay a message to the Dr. like I HAD to use this software. I'll be searching for a Dr with better bedside

I love Dr. Kennedy and have been a patient for over 10 years. Unfortunately, I'll have to find a new physician as I have been having issues trying to get an appointment with her the last couple of years. She is currently booking 3 full months out. You can see her assistants but good luck trying to get an appointment with her!

Please keep looking for a doctor elsewhere!!! I had a new Thyroid RX. Within a week I broke out in itchy hives and scratching my arms raw. I was told by the nurse to wait 8 WEEKS before coming in. Don't care about hives??? Finally the doctor was apparently consulted and she advised me to stop taking the meds (which I already did) and come in right away. I asked to see the doctor urgently and was refused. I am very upset, falling apart without my meds and cannot believe the lack luster response.
