Appears to be an excellent doctor
We went to him based on online reviews and found him to be highly knowledgeable and competent. I know that some questioned his bedside manner but we found him to be quite engaging. He explained everything well and came up with some logical recommendations for future care. I highly recommend him.

Worst physician experience I’ve ever had!!
t was the worst physician experience I’ve ever had. When he arrived he said hello, but never introduced himself or even asked my name. My wife, who has worked in the cardiology field, was there and he made no attempt to engage her. It was obvious he never read through my file which would have answered all his history questions. His notation is done through dictation and starts speaking as you’re trying to answer questions. It’s rude, it’s chaotic and frankly, he’s not really listening. I wanted to leave in the first 5mins. My wife jumped in and tried to drive the conversation but he could have cared less about her experience or knowledge base. When she asked about specific surgeons or procedures he was 100% dismissive. It was surreal. This guy is just an arrogant egomaniac. He may be extremely good on the procedural side of the medical business, but he is an absolute zero in the office. I would never let him perform even obtaining vital signs on me.

Acted like I was an annoyance instead of a patient
Didn't introduce himself when he entered the exam room - just went straight to the computer. When he did address me, he was rude and dismissive. Asked me (the patient) why I had other procedures performed (that were ordered by my cardiologist). Didn't provide any meaningful information or explain anything regarding my condition. Will never return.

He did not talk to me.
He did not talk to me. I assume he is a skillful surgeon. His Physician's Assistant, Marina, was extremely helpful.

The most important man on earth
Dr. Colin Movsowitz is the most arrogant, pompous, dehumanizing individual I've ever had the misfortune of meeting. He is no doubt knowledgeable in his field, but his bedside manner is beyond atrocious.

Very poor communication and listening skills. Failed to explain a pacemaker procedure for mom or answer any questions before it was scheduled until I insisted as he came to take her for the procedure from the pe-op unit. During surgery he used local anesthesia and mom felt when he cut into her. She screemed and he had to fix that pretty quick. One of the worst experiences with a medical professional. I've seen hundreds of doctors between children, myself, parents, and wives. Neurosurgeons, cardiologists, orthopedists, developmental pediatricians, etc.... He's on the lower end of the better ones. Stay away!!!!
