Getting an initial visit was good but after that it was difficult to get follow up care he is a good doctor but the office practices used are not patient friendly

I love the doc. But his “scheduling nurse” sucks.
Dr B is awesome. Very helpful (IF his scheduler Shauna will ever call you back). I’ve tried to get in for 2 months now, and I can NOT get a real person to call me back or get a procedure scheduled. I’ve tried ALL avenues. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

Rude Staff Excellent Doctor!
If it wasn't for DR Behrend being an outstanding Doctor, I would recommend going elsewhere. His Scheduling and and Billing Staff were very rude to me and other customers which I witnessed when in his office!!!

Runs lots of tests that cost alot of money and then never gets back to you about the results. I had issues with stomach pains, diarrhea, blood in stool, and more. Got an endoscopy and colonscopy done. Never got back to me with the results even though he said it would be a week. Called and messaged them on the portal numerous times for results but got nothing. Maybe my test results weren't urgent but I am still suffering with GI symptoms that never got addressed. Never wrote any prescriptions, did not tell me what is going on with test results, no diagnoses made, and they never issued a follow up appointment. I feel like they got their money and never felt the need to do anything else. So frustrating.

He's always been excellent. I've been visiting him for several years. He answers all my questions, he is never rushed and goes through all my options. I see many specialists and he is one of my favorites.
