I liked this doctor at first, but he has been quite unhelpful recently. He is refusing my hormone therapy which I have been in continuously for 9 years. My endocrinologist left her patients high and dry, so I am in limbo. Transgender patients, AVOID THIS DOC!

Recommended him to my father after seeing him myself... and he subsequently ended up saving my father's life a couple years later. Dr Mowery didn't find any obvious problems, but there was something about Dad's EKG he just didn't quite like, so he referred Dad to a cardiologist. Two weeks later he had an emergency triple bypass, because all three of his major coronary arteries were blocked or nearly blocked. The people at the hospital repeatedly expressed amazement he hadn't come from ER.

Dr. Mowery has been my doctor over 5 yrs and was my father's pcp for over 15 years until he recently passed at age 94. He is knowledgable, thorough and takes time to answer any questions or concerns. Dr. Mowery encourages me to be involved in improving my health. His office staff, especially nurse Shauna, are friendly, efficient and respectful. Thank you.

Dr. Mowery has been my physician for more than 10 years. I have never had any issues with his professional demeanor. He listens to and answers any questions I have honestly and directly. I would recommend him to anyone and know former patients who were saddened when they had to go to other doctors because of insurance issues.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Mowery?
I have never been so angry with a doctors office. Dr Mowery personally made me feel inferior, didn't listen to a word I said about my medications, and typed paragraphs into Epic recommending medications that he did not mention to me verbally. The communication between him and his staff was terrible. Every time I called to have a script refilled they gave me trouble, threatening to send me to a psychiatrist to prescribe my medications. I will never recommend anyone go to that office.
