Doctor had mask on during a televisit (in his office by himself) and didn’t speak into speaker making it nearly impossible to hear what he was saying. Seemed uninterested in trying to break down or understand my symptoms. Quickly went to a viral issue and to “wait it out.” I, knowing that wasn’t right based on my symptoms, scheduled a second opinion immediately through my insurance provider who went deep into my symptoms and asked questions with care to diagnose me with strep throat and prescribing antibiotics. Based on these other reviews on this site, it appears to be a common trend for him.

I inherited Dr. Cooper after my doctor left the practice. What a nightmare. He seems to have ZERO clue what's going on, ever. One visit, I went in because I got kicked in the face with a soccer ball and my pupil was dilated and my vision blurry the next day. He told me it wasn't dilated and I was fine, but if I insisted he'd have ophthalmology look at it. So I went down.. yeah... pupil is dilated, clear ocular swelling, Dr there told me that it was consistent with that kind of trauma, prescribed some drops, a follow up... I had to resort to Dr.'s on demand to get new migraine medication (FDA issues, no longer available, needed a new type of medication) because he demands a full physical for anything you need. It always feels like he's just trying to increase his billable hours. The guy is just so out of touch with medicine, terrible bedside manner. No wonder it's so easy to get an appointment with him.

I went to go see Dr. Cooper for knee pain. After asking me to change into a gown, he walked back into the room without knocking. He had given me a few minutes but still highly unprofessional. He only asked cursory questions about my knee, didn’t work hard at trying to diagnose (in fact had no diagnostic thoughts) and when I asked about a secondary concern didn’t have any thoughts except one suggestion to keep a diary of symptoms. Not a helpful doctor to go see.

Dr cooper should retire already. I went to see him as a new patient because I was sick. Without ANY kind of physical examination, he told me I must have anxiety and to see him in a few weeks for a physical!! After suffering another couple weeks to get into see another MD, turns out I have severe thyroid problems!! Thanks buddy!
