Dr. Claudia Preuschoff, MD

I love that she takes the time with each child. She is gentle, patient, and can relate with her patients/parent.

For over 48 hours I tried contacting her office regarding a refill for my sons ADHD medication. Because she wrote the script with the wrong date by one day he couldn’t get his meds filled and had to go a day without. 48 hours and they could’ve returned one of my 20 calls to fix the situation. She chose not to put the child first. Her job as a pediatrician was not done and I do not recommend. Find someone that will put your children first.

My sons have been seeing Dr. P for almost 20 years - two have aged out. Though the years we have been through alot, but she always got us to the right person if it was beyond her scope- such as counselors- neurology. However - she has the experience and perspective to understand children and the different issues they could be going through. She is gentle and explains things well to kids, and is honest and no nonsense with the parent which I appreciate. The appointments go smoothly and nurses are great. It’s also high tech enough to link with Barnes and other hospitals to import your kids records easily to her system. I love that. I don’t regret raising my kids with her as their pediatrician. It takes a village!

My 5-year-old son is autistic and she's ALWAYS perfect with him and I think he likes her too because he did so well at his check-up. We love Dr. Preuschoff she's patient, kind, understanding and genuinely cares about her patients. I'd give her 10 stars if I could.

Dr Preuschoff is extremely patient and thorough during visits. We are very happy that we found her!

Also so polite and takes her time with each patient. Make sure all questions or concerns are answered.

Great bed side manner, she listens to understand, not answer! Over all she is awesome and my grandsons loved her!

Dr Preuschoff agreed to see my son since his pediatrician was off. We received the most prompt, compassionate, professional, & excellent care we could of asked for. Dr Preuschoff called our son’s neurologist to ensure they were agreeable to treatment plan & did a great job making sure all his needs were met. She also put my fears at ease treating not only my son but his parents as well. Thank you to Dr Preuschoff & her staff!

She was rude to me and she questioned my son’s actual Doctor and tried to make her look stupid to my son and I. (We had to see her for his behavior) She didn’t take my concerns serious as well.

We couldn’t be more pleased the care of Dr. Preuschoff and her staff! She always takes her time with us at every visit. She’s very thorough, down to earth, and never makes us feel like a bother. Our last visit was a 3pm visit and she promised to call to let us know our sons X-ray results, We didn’t expect a call that day since it was so late in the day. But she kept her word and called us and eased our nerves. My son has always been scared of going to see the doctor but now that he have switched to Dr. Preuschoff, he begs to go see her!

She was very cordial when she cane into the room. She eased his fears of "getting a shot". Wonderful bedside manner. She seemed pretty knowledgeable about our situation. And was very easy to talk to.

Dr.P is great and wonderful physician I would not take my children to any other doctor.

Claudia is so kind and caring! Always going above and beyond for her patients. She has done so much for my kiddo. She was the only pediatrician in poplar bluff to listen to my concerns and she referred him to a specialist where he was diagnosed with autism at age 5. He is now 9 and thriving thanks to Claudia for caring and getting him a diagnosis so he could begin early intervention. Hands down she is the best pediatrician in the area.

The office is not client friendly. The medical record department mailbox is always full. The records are not received timely. Very disappointing.

We love Dr. P!! She is so good with our special needs child!!! In addition she works great with our typical teens as well. We couldn’t ask for a better doctor.

She's a wonderful doctor who takes the time to diagnose my children accurately.
