Dr. Leiva essentially saved my life. She discovered a very large ovarian cyst which had been tortioning and twisting, cutting off circulation at times. I had been to doctors and cardiologists who did various tests without finding anything, and had made light of my symptoms. Things like nearly passing out while driving were happening. Dr. Leiva sent me for ultrasounds and found the very large cyst. After she performed the surgery, all the scary symptoms ceased, and have had a healthy heart, etc. since that time.

I second what Lynn's commented above, I felt rushed too. Any doctor being a bit late or cancelling an appointment is understood no questions asked, but during my appointment, she was in a hurry and didn't listen to my concerns or let me finish the very few important questions I had for her. I am not trying to exaggerate but I genuinely felt like I got a generic vague opinion for anything I ask and there’s lack of care, patience. I wouldn't recommend.

i felt rushed even if she was the one who is 30mins late for my appt., she was rough while doing pelvic and doesnt appear interested in providing care and education to a first time mom to be. Maybe because she isnt my primary OB and I was seen in an urgent basis. She dismisses every concern and wont allow me to finish my sentences. I said i am sensitive to lube, but, she said she will use it anyway! Now i am itching! Not an OB that you want taking care of you.
