I've visited the Sarasota Medical Center several times from just feeling sick to a severe burn. Dr John Mason team there is very knowledgeable and capable of taking care of many different ailments. I would not hesitate to go there for anything that my family or myself would have. As far as Medical non-emergency issues of course. Thank you for many years of helping me out.

VERY THOROUGH WITH EXAM. CONCERNED WITH ALL OVER HEALTH ,NOT JUST PRIMARY REASON FOR VISIT. HIGHLY EDUCATED, BUT, EXPLAINS THINGS IN WAY PATIENTS UNDERSTAND. HAS LAB AND XRAY IN OFFICE SO VERY CONVIENT. SEEMS TRUELY COMPASSIONATE DOES NOT PATRONISE AS MANY DOCTORS WILL. ANSWERS ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. HONEST AND DIRECT . NOT EASILY IMPRESSED WITH MANY IN PROFESSION BUT, HE IS MY PRIMARY CARE DOC NOW! MY MOTHER IN MEDICAL BUSINESS, IN DIFFERANT CAPCITY HERSELF AND RESEARCHES ,BEFORE SHE CHOOSES. SHE RECOMMENDED HIM SO I KNEW WOULD BE TOP DOC. MY SCHEDULE IS TIGHT, SO HIS CLINICS ACCEPTING WALK-INS AS WELL AS APPTS. IS A KEY PLUS FOR ME

Did not care for him. He ordered more tests than I've ever had in my life so he could pad his wallet. When he told me he needed blood taken his nurse drilled the needle so deep into my arm I had black and blue bruises and pain for weeks afterward and could barely feel my arm afterward. I could not raise my arm above my head for about two to three weeks afterward. The nurse kept saying she couldn't get blood to come out of the vein and to squeeze harder or lean forward more and I couldn't believe it. I could have done a better job myself.

Be aware that Dr. Mason is retiring. I was not made aware when I made the appointment on the phone nor in the waiting room as I checked in as a new patient. I was in the exam room when a new doctor who is not on the web site walked in and informed me.

I went to this doctor to have a procedure done and had a horrible experience. The nurse who took my blood drilled the needle so deep into my arm that it was black and blue and sore for almost a month before I could use it to drive. When I later called to ask questions the staff would not respond to phone calls - after 6 calls. I would not go back.

Very simply the best doctor I have ever met. I have been seeing Dr Mason since moving to Sarasota over 3 years ago and and find him to be beyond excellent in all categories. He is extremely intelligent, very patient, kind, and considerate. He treats his patients with respect, carefully listening, then taking the time to explain everything as well as answering all of your questions. He has helped me through some challenging health issues and was always right on with his treatment and advice. I feel that you could never go wrong with the choice of Dr Mason, the Sarasota Medical Center, and his absolutely wonderful team of health professionals.

The overall experience at the Sarasota Medical Center is one of world class service with knowledgeable staff and Doctors that are up to date with the latest trends and information concerning general health care. My personal experience is with Dr Mason. He is the first doctor that understood the goals I was trying to achieve but also helped me understand what I needed to do. He was well versed on how to help me lose weight and gain control of my other health related issues.

Dr. Mason has been my Primary Care Physician for the past year and a half and I would recommend him and his partner, Dr. Joaquin Aristimuno to anyone seeking a caring, compassionate practice that provides prompt, "Top Quality" care. His group, Sarasota Medical Center is the most efficient and pleasantly staffed group I have ever had the pleasure of being associated with. They will always fit you in to see a doctor or PA when in need and you do not have an appointment. They listen to you.

I rarely recommend someone, but Dr. Mason and his staff should be valued at far more than 5 stars. Dr. Mason is a very concerned individual. I have had many issues that he has treated and counseled me on. Dr. Mason has the training,the intellect, the empathy and the compassion. He works 24/7 for the welfare of his patients. I might add that I often drive many hours for an appointment with Dr. Mason. Well worth it. Thankyou for being you, Dr. Mason.

Dr. Mason is a very caring doctor. He is a careful listener who pulls his chair right up to you to concentrate on what you are telling him. He is thorough in both exploring and explaining. He spends as much time as you need on you yet manages to stay pretty much on time so you don't have long waits. He has a variety of testing services available (like blood work, etc.) right in his office which is incredibly convenient.

Dr Mason is the most competent and caring physician. He has helped me thru diabetes management, weight loss and complex cardio issues. Since I switched to him as my primary care doctor......I have been more "healthy" . I think that may sound a little korney, but this is because he has taken a proactive to my medical care. Overall, I am feeling much better. Not because of different pills or medication, but rather because he helped me lose weight and more importantly diagnose some long standi

If you're reading this review right now it probably means you're searching the internet looking for a doctor. Well, search no more. The care you will receive from Dr. Mason is second to none. I was suffering from a life-altering back injury. Things felt pretty hopeless for me when I first visited Dr. Mason. He took the time to listen, and then provided me with a plan to get my life back. And it worked. If it wasn't for his experience and knowledge, things would be a lot different for me now

Gregory C. in Sarasota, FL Doctor Mason is a credit to the medical profession. He is an astute, well trained professional who is very bright, insightful, and thorough. He is also kind, considerate and has a great deal of concern and respect not only for the well being of his patients but also for their time. He runs a very efficient, well staffed facility and I have always found his team to demonstrate the same positive characteristics of Dr Mason himself. He and his staff are the absolute best
