Dr. Clarence Allegakoen, MD

Dr “A” as he called himself, visited me at El Camino Hospital recently. I wasn’t clear about symptoms and what was wrong. I thought it was maybe food poisoning. In the ER they tested me for COVID (and I had tested for COVID and Flu at home 3 times) All tests were negative. I was dehydrated; I asked them to rule out novo virus and C-diff and other bacterial causes. Dr”A” asked me a lot of questions about my symptoms (including their timing) to try to figure out my treatment. He was professional, & thorough and caring. After 3 days. I was discharged and given followup Rxs. After returning home Dr “A” even called me to followup with me. This was very kind. I recommend him highly.

My relative had a stroke and subsequent pneumonia during their hospital stay. Dr. Allegakoen worked tirelessly to continue trying different antibiotics until the pneumonia was resolved. He also listened to our concerns about other medications and choose a treatment pathway with that in mind. I am eternally grateful.

Dr Allegakoen is also working in Good Samaritan Hospital San Jose, CA. He was my Physician treating me when I was hospitalized in April 2020 in Good Samaritan hospital. This Dr has negative attitude and don’t cares about patient except his billing from insurance coy. My Insurance gave all OK to me but he had an issue with the insurance. He prepared my Discharge order on 2nd day of admission while I was in a very bad shape tested +ve for Covid-19. He is spoiling good name of Good Samaritan hospital.
