Dr. Clara Choo, MD

I was never left wondering a thing. Dr. Choo and her staff answered all my questions and was patient with me as I worked through the decisions I need to make with cataract choices. I can't think of a thing they could do to improve this process.

all was on time. Tiffany the assistant was very pleasant and always informed me on what the test was and what to expect.

She was very confident. Her staff was well-trained.

Jack did all my testing. He explained everything very clearly to me. Nothing hurt just tests to gather information. Then Dr. Chu came in and told me my options.

Dr Choo is thorough, staff is cheerful and helpful. I do wish there was more time during an appointment to answer questions.

Dr. Choo was great! Very knowledgeable and personal. Staff consistently failed to communicate with one another, and complained about other departments in front of patients. Need better continuity of care.

Dr. Choo did a great job explaining the exam, listening to my concerns, and providing options.

My experience was very positive. Dr. Choo explained the procedure and visited with me before each of my two eye surgeries. The procedures went as expected with no negative side effects. I was very pleased with Dr. Choo's professional conduct.

It was determined that I had cataract(s), possibly pre glaucoma.What I was missing was: what do I do now: during what period of time, what is recommended now to improve my deteriorating vision: what is the prognosis. There was no Q and A or conversation after the exam. Simply, I was to make another appointment in December. To what end?This journey began May 8 at Apple Valley Eye Care, referred to MN Retinal Assoc, 5/15 appt.. referred ,6/21 Dr. Choo appt. I hope it’s not unreasonable to expect observations/questions after several exams.My expectationss are simple: Will my vision improve? When? What is the process? Why the delay? Why has this been pushed to December?Thank you for response. I respectfully look forward to it.Paul Coufal

Dr. Choo and the staff were all very professional. Dr. Choo could tell I was nervous about getting my eyes dilated because I almost passed out the last time I did. She left the door open and had 2 staff members check on me to make sure I was ok. She was very thorough with my exam and explained everything so it was easy to understand.
