Best Neurologist in the area.
Very personable. I had been given the run around by several other physicians and he diagnosed me and treated me and I've never felt better. He is very down to earth and spent time with me answering all my questions when others brushed me off. I highly recommend him.

Waste of Time
After suffering for months, I was FINALLY seen. My appointment lasted maybe 15 minutes. After the basic balance and sensitivity tests, many I ended up stumbling/almost falling during, I was informed I was basically fine. No MRIs or other tests were ordered. My medical history, symptoms, and obviously visible symptoms were completely ignored. Don't waste your time going here.

Ten years ago a good friend of mine was a patient of Dr. Opeda in the hospital. I was present in the room when he came to visit with her. He never even introduced himself. Her adult daughters were present in the room as well. He ordered them out of the room. He proceeded to give my friend an incorrect diagnosis. She sought a second opinion thankfully and his diagnosis was incorrect. His bedside manner is without compassion. He has not changed. Recently a family member visited him for an evaluation. He spent about ten minutes with patient. His lack of compassion for the patient and their families is inexcusable. I would never want my ill family or loved ones to seek his services.

I had an appointment with Opida and he is very rude. Quite honestly he doesn't have the personality to interact with patients. I will never step foot in his office again.

I was a patient for 12 years with him. Not one for small talk but he was very knowledgeable and he really did seem to care. I moved out of the area for 5 years to attend college and when I moved back I scheduled an appointment. 1. In that time they had moved and lost/shred all my records. 2. Refused to fill out paperwork about my condition stating "didn't know me" 3. Told me he didn't need to treat me because Tourette's were bad due to obesity & high blood pressure (first high bp 30 yr)
