Worst doctor Ever
This has to be the worst doctor by far. My husband recently experienced seizures for the first time of his life after 40 years. And was referred to this doctor. Our 1st visit was okay since she had a trainee with her. The aftercare and follow up where it started. We have never been spoken to like that from professional especially going through the most hardest time of our lives. You would think going through neurologically issues you wouldExcept alittle compassion or empathy. This issue at hand was we had contacted her one too many times after no response for the issues he was experiencing for the 1st time. After she stated to us to leave communication when needed. This happened after I reached out for only 3 time and myself since my husband was having continuous seizures. She returned our call back demanding to speak to my husband in his time of need and spoke very poorly stating my husband was not “Man” enough to contact her and needed his wife to do so. We are in utter shock.

I cannot praise Dr Reed enough for all of your compassion, concern empathy and education. She is a blessing! I have been misdiagnosed by many doctors for 7 years and to finally get the correct diagnosis and her compassion for all I went through was comforting. The lever of education of my condition that she provided me and my husband was perfect. She was even able to make me laugh while I was crying. She is amazing!!!!

I wish I could discuss the entirety of what happened but I'd exceed the character limit. To summarize, in my experience and in my opinion, Dr. Reed is rude, unprofessional, and shouldn't be around sensitive patients who have high-risk health issues.

Dr. Reed does not communicate well with her patients. I did not feel that she really cared for a family member. At times felt she was a bit rude with her answers.

My research focuses on the mechanisms of seizure initiation, generation and cessation using LFP and single-unit analysis. Additionally, I also study the relationship between memory dysfunction and chronic intractable epilepsy.
